heathermed- i'm on day 13 in my cycle. i used 100mg on days 3-7. this is my 3rd cycle. the first 2 i was on 50 mg days 5-9.

prayin4ababy wow thats cool ur just a few days behind me then since im day 19. Have you been using any opk. According to mine it was yesterday kinda late so i guess you can o any time on the clomid. Im hoping the 100mg works for you. I think i had some symptoms of o too. Im on metformin 500 dont think it is helping are you on it? I am gona ask about increasing it tomorrow when i go to dr. Anything else u want to know except the progesterone levels????
ginalynn did u finish the provera sat?? I know it took me like 3 days or so after and then it happened. Maybe tomorrow will be your day. Are you starting 50 or 100 mg of clomid?? Im on metformin dont think it is helping are you on it?

heathermed- I did finish on sat. I feel kinda crampy and yucky so I have a feeling it will be here soon! I am start 50mg of Clomid days 3-7. No metformin so far. This is my first round of clomid so we will see what happens!

ginalynn thats good i bet it will start soon, I have read that clomid can help regulate your cycles also so im hoping for the best for you, are you gona have bloodwork around day 21 also?? That will tell you if it worked.

prayin4ababy, ginalynn, hello ladies ok i got some info for ya, first ginalynn did you get your af yet??? I saw the dr yesterday and he told me he likes to see a progesterone level around 15 or 16 he said that level is great, unfortunately mine was 0.6 initially and after a round of 50mg clomid my progesterone only went up to 1!!!!! I was really disappointed, I go monday for bloodwork to see if the 100mg worked but thats alot to get up to. He also tld me that a pos opk is a good sign but doesnt always mean you ovulated. He increased my metformin to 1000mg and gave me a rx for 150mg of clomid for next cycle. He also gave me a rx for provera in case i have no af also. Good luck to you guys i hope you dint have this much problems.

ginalynn, sorry i forgot i used the ANSWER opk i got it at walmart. when i started using them rght after the clomid i got faint lines and they went more faint but on cycle day 18 it was defiately darker than the test line so it seemed pos to me but like i said the dr said it doesnt mean i did.

Heather - Thanks for asking. No luck right now. I ma having problem w/ my OB who doesnt seem to want me on clomid. I have ordered clomid online but it wont get here until after I O this cycle. Then my dh will be deployed so I probably wont get to try again until July. Good Luck with the higher dosage!

So, of corse, the moment that I say saomething bad about my OB she calls. Now I have to eat my words! She is putting me on clomid and she is going to give me the trigger shot. Unfortunately, are timing will be off this cycle because my dh is leaving so I will have to wait until July when he comes back. BUT I am so excited that she is finally 100% on board. My OB is young so maybe she was just being cauious.

soready, Im sorry your not getting anywhere with your ob maybe you should find one you like and thats open minded to it. That way you can be monitered during your cycle and if you got your rx now you could fill it locally, i know walmart was only 9$ for 5 pills of 50mg without sending it to insurance since it doesnt cover it anyway. Also the dr can do bloodwork to see what dosage works for you. Good luck let me know.

soready I am so glad for you, the trigger shot ive read works good, i aked my ob about it and he isnt on board with the shot, so good for you, i forget did you have pcos also???

My OB doesnt think so. The only thing that she has done to test for it is blood work and that came back fine. I will go back and see her at the end of May so that we can start figuring out when I need to start taking clomid and/or provera.

soready, thats good you dont, i dont know what happened to me but since i stopped my bcp ive had nothing but problems no af, no o, low hormones. Its been a year now, well im glad your on board with the dr, GOOD LUCK to you and your dh. I go for blood work mon ill let you know what i find out, i hope you get it on the first try.
