hello all! Sorry I have been MIA but i got a little down there for a few days! AF finally arrived and I started my first day of clomid 50mg today!

heather- I am right with you. I found out last Friday that my brother is expecting "accidentally"....it's annoying but like soready said....it is far enough that you will have your own time...and who knows we both could end up with twins!!

ginalynn, soready, and prayin4ababy, Thank you for the encouragement you all have made me feel better. I am gonna keep trying i dont feel the want to share with my family my efforts anymore tho.I feel like my mom just patronizes me and i hate it. Im sure you all have had those thoughts to. My results werent back as of wed of my progesterone level hopefully today and i will let you guys know, as u may remember it was 1!!!! And he wants 15 so im hoping its up but thats a high amount. He already gave me a rx for 150mg clomid in case the 100mg didnt work, he also said at that dose i have to have an us between days 10 - 15. Thank you again and extra baby dust to you guys!!!!!!

heather- i went & had bloodwork done yesterday. they told me i should find out today what the levels were. my first cycle it was 14 and the second cycle was 7, so hopefully it will be above 15 like you said. Just don't give up! Fingers crossed it works for both of us this time on the 100mg.

prayin4ababy, I dont understand why the levels change so much esp when you keep increasing the clomid, but i just heard from my dr and my progesterone level came u to 9.7 Much better than 1!!!! I still dont think it was high enough to indicate i o, but better than last time, my dr is away this week so im not sure hes gonna do much more other than take the 150mg next cycle, which if u remember i cant seem to have my af, he did give me provera to start it if i dont, I also had my metformin increased to 1000mg from 500mg so maybe with a that it may be enough next time.

that's good it went up that much heather! hopefully if it doesn't work this time, it will for sure work next time. i think the 100 mg helped you, so the 150 could only make it better. i had to take provera before my first cycle, but i haven't had to since. i will let you know when i get my results back.

prayin4ababy, thank you, yes let me know my results took 4 days, have you heard or read of some peoples levels go down with the higher dose???? I thought i have read of some women having that happen.Did that happen to you? I was 0.6 then 1 and now 9.7 so far thats good. I think i will wait a little to see if i get my af before i take the provera, it should be next week but my dh and i are going away for our first anniversary next weekened im gonna wait til we get back and if it doesnt start by then i will take the provera and the 150mg clomid.

i just got my results back from yesterday and it was 6.7! that is the lowest yet and i was on a higher dosage. now i've had 14, 7, and 6.7. i'm so bummed out right now. i just don't understand why this isn't working. good luck to everyone else!

praying - I could be wrong about this but . . . I heard that taking too high of a dosage of clomid could cause problems when ttc. I am wondering if your doc should have kept you on the lower dosage because it seems like your levels were better there. Is it possible to take the lower dosage, but take it for a longer period of time (like 8 days instead of 5). Why did your doc move your dosage up? Was it because of your levels or was it because you didnt have mature eggs?

prayin, I am so sorry to hear that!!! I dont understand why the levels go down, Im gonna do a little research on clomid and see what i come up with. Its true why did your dr put you on a higher dose when you were 14, was that the 100mg dose?? Did you get a chance to ask your dr why its going down???

hey all- i talked to my doctor about everything today. the first month i was on 50mg it was a level 14, so they kept me on the 50mg again & it dropped to a level 7. that's why they changed it to 100mg, but my level was 6.7. they said that it is completely normal and that it just takes a lot of working with to get the right dosage. they also said that stress can play into it. i know i'm stressed out because i want this to work so much. i really don't know what to do to help that, but hopefully the 150mg will work!!

Today is my CD24, my blood test result which taken on CD22 shown that my hormon level of progesteron is good and my OB confirmed that I have ovulated. OB said hope that my period wont come this month.
Unfortunately, I have sore breast and slightly pain since last night. I was quite upset to have this symptom as this is the 1st sign to me that im getting my menstrual soon in a week time.

prayin4ababy, I am so glad you got to talk to your dr. Ive been hoping you wont give up. When do you start the 150mg clomid? I got the same rx i am hoping i will have my af on my own but today is cd30 and nothing yet and i confrmed a neg preg test, if it doesnt i have provera to make it start, maybe we will be on the same time, did they tell you you have to have an us when using the 150mg??? I have to go on cd 10-15, It seems like mine came up with 100 so im hoping 150 will do it for both us..

Angie Faith I forgot did your OB tell you what your progesterone level was?? What dose were you taking??

ginalynn, soready how are you guys??? Whats been going on havent heard from you ive been thinking about everyone and hoping for you guys..I went ahead and filled the 150 mg clomid and anticipating my af to try it again im not giving up yet. Thought about it but you guys give me hope.

Heather - nothing is going on here. I am sorry that you think that you are going to get af. I hope that the next round does the trick. Has you doc said what the next step will be if the 150 doesnt work?

soready, hello i was diagnosed with pcos and i havent had my af this year yet, its crazy ive never had any problems prior to this. I asked my dr how long I can take the clomid and he said it was debatible. I think he was gonna try it for a little while then refer me to a fertility dr but im not sure we will do that since its so expensive and not covered by insurance. Hopefully the 150 will work, I went from a progesterone level of 1 to 9.7 going from 50 to 100mg of clomid so maybe the 150 will do the trick. what amount of clomid are you taking???
