Yeah, I think you definitely O'd! My prog level was not over 15 and I still got a BFP, so think happy baby thoughts! :) And even if you don't get a BFP this cycle, at least you know that Clomid did its job and hopefully next round will be even stronger. Fingers crossed! And sticky baby dust!!

Abbyjo thanks for the info im hoping what you say and the fertility dr says is right then we would of o. I havent had a regular cycle since last year so im not sure if i a late yet or not,

So I went to my OB today and to my surprise she is prego! 2 months ago when i saw her she did not have a belly and she was rather rough. Today she was very nice and asking me what she could do for me. I was blown away! Anyways, she wants me on 50mg of clomid cd 5-9. But I have decided to take 100mg clomid cd3-7 and 50mg on cd8 just to give my egss a boost. My OB thinks that I have such long cycles because it takes my body longer to mature the eggs. So i think that it wont hurt to give them a boost. Then sometime between cd12-14 I will go in for an u/s (to check my follicles) followed by an Hcg shot if I have at least 1 is matured. I should O 36 hours after the shot and then we should bd every other day. She said that bd'ing everyday does not lower sperm count. But bd'ing every other day would ensure a better quality of sperm. she said that the sperm need a day to rest! lol I cant wait until my next cycle. I am so excited. Time is going to be soooo slow!

We also talked about multiples and she there is only a 6% chance. Thats kinda sucks! And she said that there is no proven method to help sway the gender of the baby.

Heather - I will def ask my re about the prog levels...I'm starting to feel completely confused about all of this! My re had me do the hcg trigger shot last week as he said I hadn't o'd yet??? And AF isn't due till at least Sunday...but I'm having the worst cramps today...I really had hopes that this was gonna be our month! I didn't even think that AF could come so soon since I just did the shot last week...I'm so depressed. Nothing seems to be working for us...
On a better note when did your re say you should take an hpt?

Hello ladies, not to make things more confusing i had 2 progesterone levels this month on last wed it 7 and last fri it was 9. My obgyn did it first and then the re did it after. The re felt i did o, well today is cd 33 and no af yet and of course i cant wait 10 days i took a preg test yest and it was a BFN. I figured it would be, Ive been very crampy for the past several days so im sure my af is on the way. Im supposed to get bw on day 3 and the hysterosalpingogram. Does anyone know what can cause blockages in the fallopian tubes???
Keric dont give up i know how you feel i dont understand why it is so hard for some and so easy for others.
Im a paramedic and trust me i see many patients that are pregnant and most of them are young, single, have no job, and have at least 2 kids already and it just happens like that, it gets depressing but we cant give up hope.

I don't know what can cause them, but my ob did tell me that if you do have some type of blockage depending on how severe it is the hysterosalpingogram can actually unblock you! So there is hope there at least! Also keep in mind if you didn't o till late in your cycle it takes 6-12 days for the egg to implant...so don't give up hope! Maybe it's just too early yet :)
It's so easy for us to comfort others...yet we get so discouraged ourselves..isn't life funny...I hope everyone is doing well and baby dust to all!

Hey Ladies...just a quick question...has anyone asked their dr's about implantation bleeding? I'm just curious how long it could/should last? I don't go back to my dr till Monday so was just seeing if anyone had any ideas.

hello keric, well i just got my af i guess a new month to try again, from my previous experience when i got preg with my son i had implantation bleeding and it was like a one time brownish red discharge and i remember me thinking it was around when my af was due and it seemed like i instantly knew i was pregnant i had a high frequancy in urination an my breasts were instantly sore, that was 4 yo. now i get remarried and no luck getting preg this time around. I thought i read that it can discharge a couple days tho hope it helps, good luck!!!!

Heather...I'm so sorry to hear that! When do you go back to see your RE? Well the last two days I have had what you described above so I don't know what to think. All of the reading I have done said that it can last 1-6 days but who the heck knows for sure. I guess I'm just gonna have to wait to see my RE on Monday and see what he says...soooo confused! :(

Keri - Sorry, I can't really help you out with the implantation bleeding. I didn't experience any, but I do remember my sister-in-law talking about bleeding for a few days - but she described it more like annoying spotting. Keep us posted on what's going on. I would think the timing is about right for implantation bleeding, depending on when you had your HCG shot. Fingers crossed!!

Heather - That darn AF! Hopefully, with the RE, this month will be a great month!

i had an appt yesterday w/ my ob. my main question was exactly what is causing this problem bc everything i've been told so far is that everything looks normal. she actually has diagnosed me w/ pcos. today i start taking metformin at 1500mg. she doesn't want me to do the clomid this month until i get used to the metformin, so i will be on clomid & metformin in july. has anyone had success using clomid & metformin together? good luck & baby dust to all!

And just like that AF has arrived...sigh...I knew I should get my hopes up!

prayin - I have read lots of good things about women with PCOS on Metformin and Clomid, so hopefully that combination will do the trick. :)

Keri - So sorry... :( I know that is so disappointing. Does your RE have a plan for this round? IUI? I remember you saying something about IUIs next month if the trigger shot didn't work. Let us know how your appt Monday goes!

hello ladies, keric my af was friday and i go monday to the RE he wants to do lots of bw and a us to make sure i dont have cysts then he said he is gonna try clomid one more round but for longer days i think 7 days at 100mg. after that i think hes moving on to a new drug.
Prayin, My obgyn diagnosed me with pcos but the RE isnt totally convinced i do, i have been on metformin since jan and this will be my 4th round of clomid, i worked up to 1500mg of metformin it can cause diarrhea ive found if u take it at the end of your meal u dont get it but if i take it before or wo eating it happens, the RE wants more bw this month and longer days on clomid to see if it will make me o. he said he wants to get a big picture of whats going on. I know for some reason ive had cramping for several days now since like tuesday more than i have before. With pcos i havent had my af regularly and that is frustrating when your trying all these meds the dr wants you to take to o. prayin i hope we can get thru this and have a BFP soon!!!!!
