Hi everyone -

Prayin - that is SOOO exciting! I can imagine how happy you were to see the little heartbeat. That's wonderful news!

Heather - I'll definitely keep my fingers crossed for you. That's one big follie! Lots of luck!!!

Keri - How exciting! You ladies have so much great news! It's gonna be a long 2ww. :)

Esmy - Wow... I'm anxious to hear how your follies are doing as well. Hopefully your news is just as good!

Jessi and Jax - Welcome!! I'm so happy you found us! I love being able to keep up with others in their journey and hear encouraging success stories.

As for me, I just got back from my awful and painful HSG. The radiologist said my uterus was antiflex(?) - I think that's what he said. So it was almost at a 90 degree angle where he had to insert the catheter/balloon thing so it took a lot of poking and pushing to get the catheter in. And oh my goodness, it was SO painful. He was blowing up the balloon as much as I could stand to apply as much pressure as possible in order to force the dye into my tubes - turns out my right tube is blocked. There was just a very, very, VERY small amount of dye seeping through, but it was pretty much completely blocked. He said my left one looked good and my uterus or endometrial cavity (whatever he said it was) looked good as well. I pretty much tuned out everything he was saying as I was staring at the screen seeing only one viable tube. *sigh* Well, at least we know what's wrong so we can deal with it and take some steps forward. We were able to get an appt an with RE next Thursday already. The RE my OB recommended actually had really bad reviews online, so luckily we were able to find one that had pretty good reviews and is actually only about 2 miles from our house and he could fit us in for a consultation pretty early. yay! I'm very excited.

Now if only I could get this cramping to stop... Heather, Keri - how long did you cramp after your HSG? This is definitely not comfortable.

Hey Guys...sounds like great news all around..

Abby dont worry once you go to your RE you will see how easy they make it sound. Stay positive it WILL happen.

I had a question....I am on CD9 and my follicle is 10mm is this normal? I have to go back Tuesday, do you think it will grow by then? Thanks for all the support I'm so glad I found this site!

ESMY - June 13th, 2009 1:33 AM

Hey Ladies!!! I have awesome and very exciting news! I went to see my RE on thursday morning after the + OPK and my Dr did the u/s and 1st checked my uterus lining and said it was looking very good, not thin at all. Then he said, "so now if we can get a follicle that is about 22mm, then we can go forward with the IUI". My hubby and I looked at each other worried, bcz last cycle he said 16mm would be good but I was only at 14mm on CD 15, so I figured that I would be at 13mm since it was only CD 14. Then OMG, he checked my ovaries, and my R ovary had 2 huge follies they almost took up the whole screen. My L ovary didnt have any. 1 of the follies was about 32mm and the other was about 26mm! So right away we did my 1st IUI and then he scheduled me to come in today for CD 15 and get a IUI#2 just to be on safe side. So now, my hubby and I are just waiting! I have an appt on thursday CD 21 to have my progesterone checked. We are so excited! This is goin to be the longest 2 wks ever!

Keric...I am so happy that u had your IUI today! I hope everything comes out great for all of us this month! How did u feel after your IUI? So u have to wait til the 27th to test? I thought its 2 wks later? I wonder what happens if u test earlier lol?

Heather...I'm so glad that you got a big follicle. Do u know why ur Dr is having u take the HCG shot even after u get a + OPK? I thought that if u get a +, then that means u r gonna O on ur own so then there would be no need for HCG...right? Either way I will pray everything goes well!

AbbyJo...Sorry to hear about ur pain. However, just think that u r doin it for the baby! I think next thursday will be great for u and ur hubby. I will continue to keep u in my prayers.

Prayin...Congrats on ur baby! I am so happy to hear that it worked for u. Hopefully all of us will have great news in the weeks to come!

Jax...I think 10mm on CD 9 is good, bcz I was at 14mm on CD 15, so u still have 6 more days. Good luck!

So Ready...I know that this will be a good month for all of us, so just keep the faith and I have a feeling that the 27th will be the beginnin of a great cycle for u.

Good morning girlies!

ESMY That's great news! But when you say you had a 14mm on CD 15 on the cycle that you were able to do you IUI?

I hope you all have a great weekend...and keep up the positivity! Baby Dust to all!!

Heathermed20 - June 13th, 2009 4:24 PM

Hey ladies,
Everyone has such great news!!! ESMY i am so excited for you sounds like you have the best chance at it this time.
Abby, I am so glad you had the test done now you know whats going on and can treat it, I cramped that day and the day after but you may be worse since they had a hard time with you, I cant wait to hear what the RE has to say to you guys. How are you feeling today??
Keric Im glad you had your IUI cant wait to hear your results.
Soredy, I cant wait for you to get started in the cycle.
ESMY, When i was at the RE friday and he said my follie was 22mm i then asked about the shot he gave me the opk to use and said he thought i would o this weekend that i was real close, since i work as a paramedic he said i could have a coworker give it to me when i get a pos he said i didnt have to but the shot gives it an extra boost to release the egg so i figured why not do it, but i have a question for anyone, what size should the follies be?? I thought me at 22mm seemed big but then i see you had 32 and 26, i havent had a pos opk yet and that was fri and today is sat so will it grow bigger by then??? Tomorrow will b cd 17 for me and thats usually when i would get a pos opk so are my chances of it getting bigger by then good??? Or is 22 good enough??? If i dont get a pos opk tom i have to go in to RE monday and they are gonna give me the shot then.
I am so excited for all of us!!!! Good luck!!! Im prayin for all of us.

SoReady - June 13th, 2009 6:31 PM

Heather - I have heard that your follicle should be at least 16mm to be considered mature. 22mm is really good. if it gets bigger then that is even better. I think that the bigger it is when it releases then the better chance you have of getting prego. Good Luck!

Heathermed20 - June 13th, 2009 7:08 PM

Soready, Thank you i forgot to ask the RE what was good. So far my opk has been neg so im hoping myabe tomorrow it will be pos. I know its gonna be real soon if not then i have to go in monday and they will give me the shot to make me o. Thanks for your help.

keric200 - June 15th, 2009 9:46 AM

Good Morning Everyone!!

Esmy...that is so awesome! You have to be so excited right now...I know I am! When did they say you could test to find out if the IUI's worked? We seem to be right around the same schedule...keep us posted!

Abby...I didn't have very much cramping with my HSG but as always we are each different. Like you said at least you know what the problem is and can go from there. I agree with the girls once you see an RE and have a "plan" it makes things just a little bit easier!

Heather...have you gotten your opk yet? If not when do you think you will take the trigger shot? I'm dying to know what happens! :)

SoReady...how are you feeling?

Ok, girls back to work...hope everyone is doing great and as always baby dust to all!

SoReady - June 15th, 2009 10:53 AM

keric - Thanks for asking. This cycle has to be the most frustrating cycle that I have ever had. Today is cd25 and still no O. Even though dh is gone and I know that I cant get prego this month but I still want to hurry up and O so that I can get this cycle over with. How is everything going with you?

keric200 - June 15th, 2009 10:58 AM

That's right your hubby is in the military right? That has to be hard! When does he come home so that you can start trying again? And I'm good! We did the IUI on Friday so I just have to wait till the 27th to find out if it took or not...it's gonna be the LONGEST two weeks of my life! lol

Jax923 - June 15th, 2009 11:03 AM

Good Morning girls,

Keric I'm sure you are filled with anxiety..2 weeks seems pretty long :) I go in tomorrow for another us to see how my follies have grown and I cant think of anything else or focus on anything else so I can imagine how your feeling. How is everyone else doing?
