hello ladies, I got my pos opk yesterday and took the shot yesterday. I am so excited so from what i recall i should o in 24-36 hours from sunday am. So we bd yesterday and today already, I am so excited and i found a sample of preseed at the dr office so we used it last night, i hope it helps!!! I have to go next monday for a progesterone level and i guess im on the waiting pattern like the other girls are, its gonna be along wait!!! Good luck everyone!!!!

Esmy, Heather, Keri - Gosh, it sounds like you guys are almost on the same schedule. waiting... waiting...

Nothing going on with me - just anxious for our appt Thursday morning with the RE. Did you guys have your medical records from OBGYN sent over or did the RE just take your word for it regarding any tests you had done previously?

Abbyjo, I took all my records with me and the RE was impressed with what my obgyn had done so far and it seemed to give him an idea what was goin on with me and then he picked some other tests that the obgyn didnt do like as in bloodwork. So if you could get them it may be useful for them. Im wondering if you will have to have some type of surgery to open your tube i think ive heard of that and then your chances may be better even tho your other one isnt blocked so you have those chances when you o on that ovary....Im so excited to here what the RE tells you, you will be happy u went. My RE was so cool he said i know youve been tryin for a while and have no patience so he was aggressvive and really quick with getting started with a plan. Thursday will be here before you know it!!! By the way if any one of you get the hcg shot the actual shot doesnt hurt but the site hurts i got it yesterday and it still hurts today, lol. Talk to you soon!!

Thanks, Heather - I was figuring I should bring my records. When I called the RE my OB refers her patients to, they said I didn't need to bring in my records. So I asked, what if she wants to do a procedure I've already had done (like the horrid HSG) and they said the RE may want to do them again. That's when I looked at her reviews and they were terrible. But the RE I'm seeing Thursday didn't exactly ask me to bring them either. I hope that doesn't mean he doesn't care to see them.
I've been reading about surgeries to open blocked tubes - I'm hoping I don't have to go that route. I mean, generally, ovulation rotates ovaries (right?). So as long as my right one is working properly, I wouldn't think there would be much of a problem. I'm a pretty big self diagnoser (ha!) and I figured that both of my pregnancies started in my left ovary and may have gotten stuck in my tube. I mean, I think those little swimmers had enough room to break through if they really wanted to. I'm picturing the beginning of the movie "Look Who's Talking." lol! I mean, I'm just assuming that because both times, no sac/pole was found.
Anyway... I'm really anxious. As I'm sure everyone else is on here with all that's going on. :)

Abbyjo, I understand your self diagnosis ha ha i do the same thing and probably look up too uc hstuff to, yes you usually o every month alternanting ovaries so every other month it should be on the good one, but when you go to the RE they moniter you very closely and do us alot ive had 3 us just this month, and they can tell u where and how big your follicle is. Its also good that you live close to your RE so when tests involve your hubby you can usually do it at home, my RE has let me see lots of stuff like the HSG and when he did the cm check he put it on a slide under a microscope and i got to see it on a screen you could actually see the little swimmers lol. I cant wait till you go!!!!!!

Jax...When I had the 14mm follie on CD 15 last month, I was not able to do the IUI bcz my RE said it more than likely wasnt mature, so he started me on Provera to bring on AF. But since u were at 10mm on CD 9, I figure that is a great sign that ur follie will be bigger by Cd 15. I've heard follies should be between 16mm and 22 mm or 18mm and 24 mm. They also say that ur follies grow about 1-2 mm every day. So I figured u have a good chance to have a mature follie by CD 15.

Heather...I am sooooo happy that u did get ur + OPK yesterday! That means that u 2 are joining Keric and me in our 2WW! Keep us posted on any symptoms or any feelings u get!

Keric...I go in this thursday for my CD 21 progesterone levels check. I am very excited. I went to this website that is very helpful called twoweekwait.com they have some really good info there. Lots of girls give their 2 week wait symptoms there. I had the cramping in my right ovary. I am now sick with the flu and my throat hurts. I cant wait til Im able to take an HPT. I even found a website where they sell them for cheaper and they can detect hcg at levels of 20ml, so that means u can test as early as 6-8 days after conception!

AbbyJo...Only 3 more days before ur visit. I would try to take ur previous Ob medical records so atleast ur RE knows what has already been tried. Good Luck!

ESMY - I bought hpt's and OPK's on ebay very cheap that measure 20miu. They were $8 for 25 or $15 for 50. They have been working great for me.

hi there, wow, i read all your stories and I think gosh, there is so much to learn. I started 100mg clomid yesterday, and think to myself, I will just take it, go see gynea on cd12 and bd when he tells us and then wait, next month, if i did not make it, then i should no more and i wont feel to left out in here.

ALL THE BEST TO ALL YOU LADIES WHO ARE ALSO TRYING. One thing that scares me a bit from reading your posts is to see how this whole experience can consume your everything. I mean we are soo desperate ( like you guys ) to have a little one. But then on the otherside I see it like, this is such an exiting new journey, potentially the start of the biggest job in my life.
All I can say laddies, is just stay positive, see this as sooo exiting.

well I went in for the us and he said that my uterin wall and lining was very thick....but the eggs werent matured...he is going to check me friday then again next week and if nothing he will induce AF and start me on the next dose of clomid 100mg. He did say that he thinks this cycle will work for me so I'm hopeful....Hope everyone else is well today.

Hello girly girls, well i forgot to ask the other day about my bw so i called the RE yesterday and told him about my pos opk on sunday and i got the hcg shot on sunday am which im not sure when i would of o, but he did say my bw was good he didnt see anything bad. He was glad about sunday and said get busy he also said that it didnt matter how many times we bd so we were really busy this weekend lol. I asked about the follicle size and he said there wasnt a good or bad size, i was hoping for a better answer than that tho. I am hoping that the 22mm was good enough, he did say that ifit doesn work this month hes gonna do the same thing next month, my other question is has anyone had a month long hot flash?? I took the 100mg for 7 days and i have been on fire this whole month, i think i may spontaneously combust ha ha ha Good luck girls!!

Hether... I haven't had hot flashes all month, however I have woken up very sweaty these last couple of days. Hope it gets better.

Keric... Still hanging in there. Any new symptoms? I can't help thinking about it every minute either.

ESMY, how you doing are you having any symptoms???

crazymonkey, welcome is this your first round of clomid?? how may days are you taking it for? i did 5 days then the RE gave it again at 7 days and gave me a nice follie. How long have you been trying??

jax, how big was your follie when they checked you, i had clomid at 100mg for 5 days and they werent sure i o then the RE gave me it for 7 days instead and i got the us and 22mm follie was there so maybe you can ask about the 2 extra days the RE said it usually does the trick.

keric, how you doing are you having any syptoms yet??

I have had alittle cramping on and off thats it. Does anyone know when you o after getting the hcg shot?? I went to the twoweekwait.com site i liked it and i also went to preseed.com site to, they really make it sound like thats all you need to conceive, there is a store less than 10min away from me that sells the preseed and i think im gonna buy it, i used a sample i got at the RE the night of my pos opk and the shot are you supposed to use it alot or just once has anyone tried it???? I had the pos opk on sunday am do u think i o already or should i use it tonight if i get it today when dh gets home??? so many questions.......

Hey Heather...he actually didnt say the size..he said P-A-L on left and P-A-L on right...anyone know what that means? I know I should of asked but I was a little down that morning, it was raining and I was so anxious I kind of just shut down. When I went in the room the first thing he said to me was, "whats the matter you always look so happy and always smiling." But he did say that my lining was very thick and that my eggs were loosening, so whatever that means. He said that he thinks I will respond well this cycle but if I dont he will give me the higher doseage next one. I will def. ask him for the seven days, thanks :) I tried laying on the floor and putting my legs up against the wall for 20 minutes so maybe that will help. I'll try that tonight and tomorrow.. I go back Friday, if nothing then I go back once next week and if still nothing we start the new cycle. From what I have heard you ovulate 36-48 hours after the shot but you should ask the dr.

How is everyone else doing?

Oh does anyone know the effects of caffeine on the repoductive cycle? I heard it slows it down so I've cut it out cold turkey and I'm dyingggggggggggggg help!!!!

jax thanks for the info, i should of asked your right, i go back next monday for a progesterone level, ive heard you should cut back on caffeine but i dont think you have to cut it out cold turkey i would cut it in half that way you arent stressing more by not having any so your body is at ease.
