Heather - I think I didnt communicate clearly.. I didn't have a +OPK I keep testing though but since my cycles are anwhere between 35-45days as of today which is CD18 I have no positive reading yet. This was my first round of clomid at 50mg so if I don't show a mature follie I am sure he will start me on the next dose for the next cycle.
ESMY- I just checked this morning and no +OPK yet. I will check tonight and then just see where we are at tomorrow. I hope I do have a mature follie!! You can find me on messenger by adding me as a contact with your email but as I tried to post it this site wouldnt let me. So I will type it like this...its.me.jackie at hotmail dot com...You can give me yours if you cant find me and I will look for you just type it as if you were going to say it.
Hope everyone else is good!! Good luck!!

ESMY - Today is cd31 and I still have not O'ed. But that's OK because I am starting provera next week to induce AF. (never thought that I would want AF to show up. lol) Dh wont be home for a while but he should be here right before O . Thats what really matters. It sounds like you have a very good chance of getting your BFP this month! Good Luck!

ESMY-
I was on 150mg of clomid cd 3-7. I never had an us done to check follies. My progesterone levels were 14 the 1st cycle, 7 the 2nd cycle, 6 the 3rd cycle, and 9 the 4th cycle(the one I got my BFP on!) I really don't remember what day I had the implantation bleeding. I just knew it was too soon for af to be here. It was really only 3 small spots of blood & you would have to be paying VERY close attention bc it could be easily missed. I got my BFP on cd 30. I really hope this helps!! Good luck to all & lots of baby dust!

Esmy - Wow! That's a great progesterone level! I am so excited for all of you to take your HPTs.
heather - No, my RE said he doesn't monitor follies or do the HCG shots. I have NO idea why - I really wish he would. Maybe I'll politely ask him, for my own sanity, could you pleeeeeease?! :) I'm also wondering why we didn't discuss my taking Metformin. Unless it's not necessary. He seemed to keep going back to the fact that I've been gotten pregnant twice. Being the inner-doctor self diagnoser that I am, I just figured that the egg wasn't mature enough when I ovulated. hmmm... who knows. I'm making a list of things I need to ask him when I go back in a couple of weeks so I'll keep adding to the list.

Good Morning girls...
Well I'm a little bummed today... I went in and there were no mature follies all still small. One good thing is my uterine lining went from an 8 to a 10 doesnt seem to be a problem there. He gave me clomid 100mg for 5 days to start tonight and I'll go back Tuesday to see. They did all the testing before starting me on clomid and everything came back normal so I dont know if this is just because my periods are longer....I am hoping that that is the reason. Hope everyone else is good...
How are the prego ladies doing? I bet your excited! That's great...SoReady how are you? Esmy I added you as a buddy on msn...:)

Jax - I am sorry to hear about you follies. I am sure that it is because you have longer cycles. My OB and I have averaged my O day at cd25 of each month. So I am in the same boat as you are, my follies may not be mature enough to get my shot on the 10th. I have heard of many women having to do a secong round of clomid to help boost their follies. Thats why I have decided to up my dose of clomid to 100mg instead of the 50mg that my OB gave me. Did you OPK's come in yet? Yoday is cd31 and I will be starting my Provera tonight. I have had cramps all day today, I dont know if they are AF cramps or not. I hope not because I would hate for the Provera to make AF arrive tomorrow.

Thanks SoReady...it sux but what can you do, it's nature I guess. It can't be that abnormal if it happens to so many women, at least that's my opinion on the matter lol. Well I picked up my 100mg clomid and ready to start it tonight so hopefully next week will be more promising otherwise start all over again. I bought my OPK's at target..I bought the digital one they had 7 in a pack and it gives you the blank circle or the smiley face, I like that one it seems easy to read but apparently I dont need them at the moment lol. Being a woman is so complicated!! How long does the Provera take to induce a period? Seems like if this doesn't work for me I will be taking Provera next week. How long have you been taking clomid? Have your cycles shortened at all?

Hi Girls!
Sorry I have been MIA...we had out of town company and you know how that goes!
Abby- I'm so happy to hear that your appt with the RE went good! It's amazing how little things like a dr spending time with you can make you feel comforted! lol When do you go back to see him?
Heather & Esmy...no symtoms for me as of today :( I'm not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing. I have had a couple of twinges in my tummy a couple time but nothing major...what about you two? Any symtoms yet? Gosh I can't believe we are all so close to being able to test and hopefully get our BFP's!!!
Jax & Soready...sorry to hear about your follies but keep your head up things will happen for you! Keep us posted!
Hope everyone is doing well and had a great weekend!

Jax - This will be my first round of clomid. Between getting my dh and all my doctors on board and then my dh getting deployed, this process has taked a year.
My Ob said that I have irregular cycles (35-50 days) because my follies take a long time to mature. So clomid is suppose to give them a boost so that they mature faster thus giving me a shorter cycle. The only way that my OB was going to give me Provera was if at 25dpo I wasnt prego and w/o AF. The cycle I am on now could potentially be a 50 day cycle being that it seems like my body is still trying to O. For the last 17 days I have had EWCM but no +OPK. I didnt wat to wait until O occured (who knows when that would happen) because then I would still have 2 more weeks before AF would arrive and then another 2 weeks on the next cycle before O. FertilityFriend dot com estomated that AF was suppose to arrive on the 27th of this month but that wont happen with out Provera so I asked my OB for it last week. I am gonna start taking it tonight. I have heard that it can cause bad cramps. That will suck because all day today I have had bad cramps as it is.
I hope that you follies look good after this next round of clomid. When do you go back t the doc to check you follies? If he gives you the shot I am curious how far off our cycles will be. If AF arrives on the 27th then I should be getting my hcg shot on the 10th.

Yes it seems as though we do have the same ovulating issue. I am actually in the same cycle... I took clomid 50mg cd 4-9 and then have been going to get monitored. I am now on cd 19 and they are still small so he gave me clomid 100mg in the same cycle...I go back Tuesday to get checked, if it still hasnt worked then we start a new cycle with provera etc. But it seems by the time I get through all of this I wont need the provera lol. AF will be ready to arrive. He hasnt said anything about the shot... so I am not sure what happens after Tuesday until Tuesday I guess. Good luck and let me know how the Provera affects you...I hope its not too painful. Anyone have any idea why some womens follies take longer than others?

Jax, I'm so glad you mentioned that you're doing another round of Clomid in the same cycle. My RE said for my next cycle I'd take 100mg CD 3-7 and then again CD12-22 every other day. It must be to give an extra boost to my follies! I've been googling that ever since my appointment last week and haven't found anything. But, since your Dr gave you another round, there must be some method to the madness.
whew... I feel so relieved. hehe...

Jax - I am sure that it is just mother natures way of testing our patients. lol The more patient we are with our follies, maybe the more patient we will be with our kids.
They say that good things come to those who wait, so for all the ladies in here that are waiting . . . We must have something really good coming!!! lol
AbbyJo - I use FertilityFriend dot com to track my cycles and there is a section for VIP members, where they can discuss things just like this thread and several women in there were taking 2 rounds of clomid in the same cycle just like you and Jax.
