Jax - My OB and I have been planing my fertility treatment for a couple of months now, knowing that I couldnt actually start it until June/July. If my follies are mature she will give me the hcg shot, which I am also excited about. I really want twins being that this will be my last baby/babies, so I took it upopn myself to up my dose of clomid. My OB said to take 50mg cd5-9. I just have a strong feeling that, that wont work for me. Most of the ladies in here are on higher then 50mg. I guess we will see what happens. If I can get AF to arrive! lol

It will come lol Patience seems to be all of our best friends right now. My dr. never mentioned the hcg shot he just said test with the kit over the next few days. He estimated It would happen anytime between yesterday and Sunday and he said if it didnt i should go back Monday to see him. But I hope that it happens this weekend. My fear now is missing the surge. Always something to worry about.

I know that feeling. Thats why I wsa testing twice a day. If O doesnt happen by Monday are you going to ask him about the shot? At least the shot is guarenteed to make you O within 48hours. That is waht gives me peace of mind about this process.

yeah i will def. ask him about it if it doesnt happen. I am just surprised with these types of procedures they dont automatically give you the shot. They are inducing everything else... why not that u know?

I agre, If you are already going in there to see him, he might as well give you the shot.

Yea I would hope so but what I am hoping for more is that I Ovulate on my own this weekend.

helo girls, well i got my bloodwork yesterday and my hcg went from 70 up to 182!!!! I was so excited it more than doubled and now i go back to re on the 15th for our first u/s and if theres a heartbeat and it looks good we will be released to our obgyn for the rest of the pregnancy. I am so excited to get the u/s i cant wait to see my dh face when he sees the heartbeat.
Soready and Jax, i only used the provera for 7 days and after about 3-4 days after the last pill i then had my af, so it should be coming soready, i personally beleive the hcg shot really made a difference bc the past 2 other months they said i o and nothing happened and this month i did the shot on the day i had the +opk, my re said after the shot u should o about 24hours after the shot, and i did use the preseed for the first time also, i think the shot really boosted that follie out and the preseed gave those little swimmers the extra boost up to that follie, i really hope this helps for you girls im giving you what worked for me maybe you can use it, i did use 100mg for 7 days instead of 5 days and i had the 22mm follie so hope it helps!!! Heather - Wow your baby is doing great! I bet that you are so excited to see the u/s! Thanks so much for the info. I did take 7 days of provera. Today is the 5th day since my last pill so AF has to be around the corner! Everyone that I have talked to said that the hcg shot helped get them prego. I cant wait to get started. I bought preseed a month or so back and we will use it this cycle. It sounds like my first cycle is almost identical to your last cycle. Did you dr tell you to take clomid for 7 days or did you do that on your own? I will be doing it on my own because I dont think that my OB will be proactive enough. We will see what happens if AF ever arrives.

As for me, im thinking about buying Preseed. I went online and found 2 different Preseed packages, 1 being original and the other being the multiple use. Does anyone know which one is better?

Soready, Im so excited for you getting your cycle started when is your dh due home??? When i did the clomid my RE gave me the 7 days of clomid and he said it usually does the trick and he was right at least for me. So if you decide to do it good luck is your dr gonna check your follie when you take it?? Ive also heard of alot of people getting prego right after the HSG also and i did have that done as well. I really think your gonna like the preseed.
ESMY, thank you, I bought the original preseed it had 6 individual packages and theyre prefilled, it was easy to use and we only used 2 of them i still have 4 more left, it sure seemed to help me, i think a combo of the shot and the preseed did it i hope this helps. Baby dust to you girls!!!!!!

Heather - I am excited too. I just have to get AF to arrive. I am 5 days off provera and she is still a no show. My OB gave me 5 days worth of clomid and I bought some u/p for the extra days. Aroun cd14 my OB will do the u/s and hcg shot if I have matured follies! I cant wait. Unfortunately, that is about the extent of fertility treatment that we have available. Even if I dont get prego within a few months, I wont have the option of having the HSG. I will be crossing my fingers that I wont need it.
Due to operational security I can not say when my dh is coming home but it is soon! I am so excited!!! I havent seen him in almost 2 months. I am SO READY for him to get home and get me pregnant! PLus I have missed him a ton!!!

SoReady - It usually took me almost 2 weeks for stupid AF to arrive after taking 10 days of Provera. So, if it doesn't come soon... no worries, she will come. And YAY for your DH coming home!!

Heather - That's great news!! Wonderful beta results! Congrats! I'm very excited to keep updated on how things are going with you. How are feeling? Any symptoms yet?

As for me, I called my RE late yesterday afternoon to make sure my b/w hadn't come in yet, and it hadn't. Everything has come back except for the most important one... the karyotype test. BUT, the good news is, I'm heading over the ocean early tomorrow morning for a long week of sun and relaxing! Every year we try to take a girls trip somewhere and this year we picked a great one! I'm very excited to take a break and just hang with the gals.
