SoReady - It usually took me almost 2 weeks for stupid AF to arrive after taking 10 days of Provera. So, if it doesn't come soon... no worries, she will come. And YAY for your DH coming home!!

Heather - That's great news!! Wonderful beta results! Congrats! I'm very excited to keep updated on how things are going with you. How are feeling? Any symptoms yet?

As for me, I called my RE late yesterday afternoon to make sure my b/w hadn't come in yet, and it hadn't. Everything has come back except for the most important one... the karyotype test. BUT, the good news is, I'm heading over the ocean early tomorrow morning for a long week of sun and relaxing! Every year we try to take a girls trip somewhere and this year we picked a great one! I'm very excited to take a break and just hang with the gals.

So ready i am so excited for you if your gonna add 2 more days to your clomid i would suggest using the same dose all those days. Definately use the preseed right after the shot, my re said usually u o 24 hours after it and he also said we could bd as many times as we wanted and we did that, it didnt do anyting to his count and it seeed to of worked.

Prayin, How are you doing?? How far along are you?? I am just 5 weeks very early, do u recall your symptoms around this time?? I literally feel a butterfly sensatoin on my r lower side and my bb are very sore, urinating more often and ive had heartburn, no sickness or vomiting, i have also noticed alot of crampy muscle pain in my lower abdomen and in my thighs, so im just waiting right now ti the 15th, i have been very worried about telling anyone yet in fear of a mc but i had to tell my family and everyone at work bc my job is very strenuous alot of heavy lifting nd most guys are very good at helping out more. I am still trying to be patient wjile waiting for AF to arive. 6 days off of Provera and I thought that it would be here by now. I usually have spotting for 3-4 days before AF arives, should I expect it to be the same way with the Provera? Do you know if there will be any difference if I step down the dosage for the 2 extra days? I am just worried about over stimulating my ovaries. But I also kinda think that it wont over stimulate them because I usually dont O until sometime between cd19-25. Last monthnI didnt O at all. I am just trying to sway the odds in my favor of getting prego on my first round of clomid. I am so excited to start!


Has anyone in here over stimulated their ovaries? How did you know? And how long did it take for them to get back to normal?

So ready, It is a very long wait, Im not sure if the provera may change how you normally get your af, it is a hormone so im thinking it will, ive heard of the overstimulation but i think its kinda rare, my re gave me the 100 for 7 days and said it usually does the trick so its up to you just passing it on to you. Im so excited for you!!!!

Heather - I sure hope that I dont have spotting for several days before AF. It would be awsome if I only had 1 day of it and then AF! My doc is an OBGYN but I dont think that she really knows much about fertility! Where I live we are limited on our medical resources so it's not like I can change doctors. How long had you been ttc before your recent BFP? Being that your doc. has had plenty of experience with fertility then I am sure that he is right. Maybe I should use the ame dosage all the way across the board. Thanks for your help! If it werent for the ladies in these forums I wouldnt know what I was doing. lol

I went this morning for my IUI. I'm on my 2ww now...anything I should be looking for and when would symptoms start? How's everyone today? Soready I havent had overstimulation so I'm not sure.

Soready, I was ttc since may 2008, i didnt go to my obgyn til jan of this year and found out i hadn't been o that whole time, i was diagnosed with pcos and my hormones were very low, after 4 rounds of clomid and an us to confirm the follie i took the hcg shot and used preseed that night, so i would def do the same dose for the 7 days, Im hoping for your af so you can get started!!!
Jax, Good luck im so excited you got the IUI esp on the 4th of july. I will tell you i had my shot on a sunday and about a week and a half later like thursday of friday i noticed my bb were getting sore and by sat and sunday they were really sore thats when i took the test and got my BFP on sunday and mondays test. I also noticed on those days i had all day heartburn. Those were the only symptoms i had that made me think i was prego and that was about 5 days before i was expecting my af. Its gonna be a long 2ww as i am waiting patiently to get my first us on the 15th. GOOD Luck!!!!

Jax - How are you doing? 1 day down and 13 more to go! Do you think that you are going to test early or are you going to wait the 14 days?

My last period was May 20th 2009 and it was suppose to come June 19th or 20th but hasnt shown up yet. My doctor took a pregnancy and blood test and they both came bach negative. She said shes not going to do anything about it until ive missed my period for 3 months, but thats too long for me. So, i decided that im going to take matters into my own hand. If i did get pregnant this cycle i was going to wait for my period to start clomid but since i dont know when its coming and it been anout 3 weeks. im trying to get pregnant with one baby or more.
I started taking clomid since July 1st with Mucinex and Baby Ibprophene for some help. Will clomid work without fro me even if i dont have a period??

mariapaniagua - I am nt a doctor but I dont think that it is going to work! 1.)Have you O'ed since May 20th? Because more then likely you are not going to O twice in one cycle. I would guess that you probably have not O'ed because almost everyone has a 14-15 day luteal phase regardless of how long their cycle is. 2.)Even if you manage to make your body O, the lining in your uterus has to be healthy in order for implantation to occur. Right now you lining is about 45-46 days old, add on top of that time for follies to mature and O. I really think that the lining in your uterus will be too old to accept implantation! If I were you I would call the doc back and ask her for some Provera. Provera will help you have a period. You will take it for either 5 or 10 days depending on what your doc rx's. Then anywhere from 2-10 days after your last pill you will start ypur period. I know that this seems like a long time but I think that it is the only thing that will help bring it on. If you doc will not rx Provera to you then there is a number of websites that you can purchase it online. The only down fall to buying it online is that it can take a while to get to you. The u/p med's that I have bought online took about a month to get to me because they were sent by registered mail (and they had to get from Mexico to Europe). The other thing that you can do is wait. I think that you use clomid now, it will probably be a waste and it will probably delay your period even longer. Good Luck in what ever you do!

mari - By the way I know where you are coming from because my last period was May 22nd and I expected AF to arrive on the 27th. Guess what I am still waiting so that I can start my clomid. However I did start taking Provera on the 22nd of June because I knew that I had not O'ed this cycle and I didnt want to have another 50 day cycle. Today is cd45 so I too am hoping that she shows up soon.

Hey SoReady - The Dr. said wait for 2 Fridays from now and if I do not get my period then I should go in and take a blood test. I really would like to wait but of course its only going on day 2 and I cant sleep, it has already consumed my thoughts lol. So my thinking is that I will break and end up testing early.

Jax - Are you going to do it on 10dpiui or 12dpiui? I know that when I am in the 2ww I wont be able to wait either!

SoReady - Probably 10 even though I know I shouldn't. I'm going to really try to wait, I don't want to deal with the stress of false negatives or false positives you know. I didnt think I'd feel so up and down on this wait and so soon. Sometimes I'm like ok it has to work then im like what if it didnt. The mind is a crazy thing in times like this!!!

Jax - If you didnt get the hcg shot then there is no way that you will have a false positive. I know that false negatives are very stressful. But you should only do what you think that you can handle.
