Heather - That really sucks you're still sick! Hopefully, your new meds will help. I'm starting to feel lucky about not having any symptoms.

All the othe girls... I know there were a few pg tests that were going to be taken here recently. Has anybody done any testing? :)

My news... I'm on bed rest. I've had a lot of cramping for the past several days. I was supposed to have an appt this morning with my RE but he had to leave yesterday for a family emergency so now I won't see him until Tuesday. Because of the cramping, DH and I decided to go to the ER last night. The ER doctor examined me and managed to get in touch with my RE and they decided I should be on "strict bed rest" - I'm only supposed to get up to go to the bathroom. It's really weird, because it's only the first day and since I don't really "feel" pregnant - aside from the cramping - I feel lazy and like I'm playing hookey from work. Luckily DH is home today so he's made me breakfast so far and is already digging around for what he's going to make me for lunch. :)

Well I am sorry to say that AF showed up on Monday... The good news is that it was only a 30 day cycle for me. Usually it has been over 31. I would love to get back to my 28 day cycle. It was always there like clockwork until I got married. Anyway, so I started my 3rd round of Clomid tonight. (Meaning Wednesday night even though technically it is Thursday morning.) I am doing days 3-7 and 150mg. I think I might move to injectables after this cycle. I was on and off Clomid for over a year last time and I don't want to do that again. I think we are going to start preparing for IVF. It's pretty exspensive but we spent more money over the two years trying to get pregnant with my daughter than we would on one round of IVF. I don't know we'll see. Hopefully we won't have to worry about it because this could be the month!

Any good news from anyone else? Or just any news at all... =)

Ok ladies, I'm still in my 2ww and I'm pulling my hair out. AF should so up Wednesday or no later than Friday BUT... I do have two questions. 1. Should I call a refill on my clomid b4 next week jus incase AF shows? And 2. I tested early this Thursday and it was neg.. was it too early to test or was the test correct? Please help!!! Hello ladies, I hope all is well with everyone. Abby how you feeling? Still on bedrest?? Do you work, how is that going?? I have an appt wed oct 23 and it will be our 16 week appt and were getting an ultrasound so maybe we will find out what we are having. I have been feeling better with the nausea but i still am having horrible splitting headaches everyday. So i will keep you informed when i find anything out. Good luck to everyone!!!!!!!!

Heather - Wow! So this is not exactly the best pregnancy... I've had a few really bad headaches lately also. I had one come on yesterday, went to sleep with it, and woke up with the same stupid headache. I finally resorted to taking 1000mg of Tylenol and I think that might've done the trick. I just couldn't function anymore without it. Has your doctor said what might be causing those?

kenadismom - In my opinion, Thursday was definitely too early to test. And I wouldn't get more Clomid until AF arrives. You don't want to pay for it if you don't even need it. :) Good luck! Only a few more days to test.

As for me, no more bed rest. That was absolutely horrible. I definitely have my lazy days, but laying in bed for 5 days straight only getting up to go to the bathroom is NOT fun, or relaxing. I don't know how women do that months. So far, everything is looking fine. We had an appt last week and the baby was measuring about 4 days more than it actually is. We have another appt next Monday so hopefully that will go well also.

Hope everyone else is doing good!! I assume there's no recent BFPs out there, otherwise we'd hear about them. Keep the faith girls!!

hello ladies..i thought i should stop in and give an update since ive been really busy! well AF came on the 14th soo im back on another round of clomid.i had an appointment today cd8 for a checkup after my dosage and doc said its ok for me to start Todaycd8-cd12 has ne1 ever done this before?? i havent read nething on these dates!?! and as expected i got the headache after taking this first pill...on a Greater note i Finally get to give blood between cds 25-28 im sumwhat excited since i dont get as close monitored as i would like! well that's my update how ru ladies doin is anyone testing soon? or any odd side effects? ***Babydust To All***

Hope - I took Clomid CD 6-10. I was really worried about those days because I hadn't heard of anyone taking it that late. My RE checked my follies CD 6 and he said as long as there isn't already a noticeable dominant follicle, it doesn't matter. And generally, in women with PCOS (which I have), that's pretty much the standard. The good news is... I'm 10 weeks pregnant!! So, try not to stress about the later dates... it could be just the trick for you!

Hope, As like Abbyjo i have pcos and my re gave me clomid for 7 days instead od the standard 5 and i got prego that month so i wouldnt worry about doin it differently cuz it worked for us.

ok ladies, AF did not show today but im gonna still wait til this weekend because i may have a longer cycle this month and i dont wanna get my hopes up too soon. But i just wanted to give you the heads up on my progress so far...

Okay, Heather... I'm waiting to hear about your appt. :) Did you find out if it's a boy or a girl yet? Hope everything went well!! I do have a question for you... my hamstrings have been SO sore the past several days and this morning I noticed it's moved down to my calves. I remember you having issues with cramping in your calves. Did you find a remedy? I feel like I'm drinking enough water (and eating a banana/day) so I'm not sure what the problem is. Any suggestions?

kenadismom - I'm not sure when you O'd so I don't know if you'd need to wait longer. I think HPTs are pretty accurate if taken 14 dpo. With my pregnancy before this one, I actually found out only 11 dpo, so it all depends on when you O'd. I would say if AF doesn't show by this weekend, then test away! :)

Not much new here - just waiting for Monday's appt to get here. I'm very excited I made it into the double digit weeks this time around! Yay for 10 weeks!! And an even bigger yay for no morning/afternoon/evening sickness.

AbbyJo_123- It must be nice to be 10 weeks- that's usually when you are pretty much in the clear. I'll be 7 weeks tomorrow- so 3 more weeks for me. You are soo lucky that you haven't gotten morning sickness!!! Definently a blessing! So glad you aren't on bedrest anymore, I know how the days drag on when you can't do anything. I am soo tired all of the time, but hopefully that will ease up soon. Really, I'll be happy with whatever this pregnancy throws my way- it'll be worth it for twins! When I've had cramping in my calves in previous pregnancies, the only thing that really helped was them being massaged. Maybe your DH will help you out?

Abbyjo, hello well i had the ultrasound yesterday and its size and fluid were all ok right on the mark. The baby was sitting breech so we couldnt see what it was. I had the choice of going back in 3 weeks or 5 weeks so we go back in 5 weeks since the dr is on vacation on my 4th week to return, ill be around 21 weeks and ill get another us then so maybe we will find out then. As for the cramps my ob told me water bananas and to take a calcium and magnesium supplement and that really helped. I havent had any since. So i go back oct 28 and the heartrate was 144 and they said it weighed 5 oz.

ok i O'd CD18 which was the 6th of this month.. and my cycles normally run between 34-36 days. im still taking to metformin pills a day and i jus dont know if i should continue to take two or go down to one until i take a HPT. With my first daughter i didnt even have any signs until i was 3 months, so i dont know. but i wanna test im jus worried about testing to early.

Hello ladies.. I started takin clomid cd 5-9 and bd everyother day! On cd16 I had an ultra sound..I hav 2 matured follicles one was 22 and one 19 I gt a shot of ovidrel on cd 16. I am 29 and I have unexplained infertility.. I have been tryin for a year. I hav had all the test.. I hope it wrks on the first time.. I dnt want to do another round..Hav anyone gt pregnant on the 1st round...

Hi Imcollier09... I am also on my first round of Clomid 5-9 (50mg). I am now on day cd21 and still have not O'd. Took us 8 years for our little boy and now we are trying for another. We do not have fertilty benefits so I am doing the clomid with no monitoring. I too am hoping that I get pg the 1st time and would love twins! Keep me posted on how everything works for you!
