Hi, girls! I have been reading alot of other's experiences online, and this group has seemed really supportive and positive. I am about to start Provera in 2 wks, then first round of clomid. I found out I have PCOS 6 months ago. (1 yr with no AF.) DH and I decided to wait 6 months before starting this whole process. Happy to finally be moving, rather than standing still, however I am anxious/excited/optimistic/worried.... how is everyone's progess coming along?

MaggieM - Hi and welcome to the group. I turned 40 and I have been ttcing for #5 for a year now. When I went to the gyn which happened to fall on my birthday (jun 3) I told him I wanted to have another baby and he said okay. Starting last month cycle I was suppose to take clomid/estrodoil (estorgene)/progesterone gel (procheive 8%) but I didn't have enough money to get the progesterone gel because my copay was $50 and I get the internet opk and hpt test strip. Well last month nothing and I started AF 4 days earlier then normal. Anyway this cycle I have been following my chart the dr gave me to the T and so far so good. On cd 2 I started taking prenat vit and baby asprin (I'm doing this on my own) then on cd 3-7 took 50mg/clomid then on cd 8-12 took 1mg estrodoil (estrogene) 3 pills 2 times a day. Let me tell you I hate taking them little blue pills to me they are worse then taking clomid as far as the s/e anyway then I am suppose to bd cd 10-16 but of course I have added a few days in the bd and I started testing with the opk test strip on cd 7 and started taking robintussin on cd 10 and then on cd 17 I am to start taking the progesterone gel and keep taking until either AF show or I get a BFP and if I get the BFP I am to keep using until I am 10wks and then on cd 27 & 28 I am to take hpt. I guess that is it for me. What about you. Krissy68

Hey ladies here is my latest update: I'm cd 14 and I have so far taken 2 opk test one at 8am with fmu and it was a BFP and then I took one at my normal time and it was a BFP so I will be taking one more this evening. Also I did bd last night but not this morning I'm still good right. I really hate taking the estrodoil because it is drying me out and it is starting to hurt when we are bding but I don't complain and I have increase the robintussin could maybe I get some KY jelly and try a little of that? My temp went from 97.62 to 97.97 so that is a good sing I guess for the temp but my cm is watery/dry what doest that mean? Anyway I hope everybody have a GREAT weekeing and I can't waint to see a bunch of BFP whether it is opk or hpt. Krissy68

Krissy68- Good luck! It sounds like things are looking good so far! Question: has anyone tried those herbs that I've seen advertised on some intenet sites that are supposed to help women with PCOS ovulate/concieve, or are they a complete hoax? I figure I should ttc on my own before I go spending a ton of money on something like that...

I will start my 3 cycle of clomid July 25th. I am 37 and by hus39 we have been married 9 months and want to have children or a child. I have see the statement of taking the mucinex and baby aspirin. I will try that this time around. Do you take the mucinex at the same time of taking the clomid and when do you start the aspirin?

Hi, I will take clomid 50mg day 3-7 once I am done with provera in another 6 days. I am glad I found this web site. There has been a lot stress lately with infertility issues. My husband has low morphology, other than that, everything is normal. I have PCOS, everything else is normal except low progesterone on day 21. My dr prescribed clomid 50mg for 3 months. After reading this website, I thought I should go back for follow up after the first cycle, right?

I just started my 3rd cycle of clomid 50mg. before i started the first cycle, my dr wanted to see if i ovulated, it showed i didnt, so after the first round of clomid i took another blood test, showed that i DID ovulate!!! so the med is working for that part. I dont know why it is taking so long to get pregnant. i have been trying for years now and i am so wanting a baby. does anyone know if there is something that i can take or do to help it go a little faster or something? I always get my hopes up thinking that the clomid worked but then here comes my monthly cycle, so that puts me down in the dumps. If anyone can help me i would be so happy!!!! please help!!!!!

Hi everyone. I took Clomid 50mg for the first time days 3-7 on July 6 and had a terrible pain with intercourse on cd16 - 18. The pain is now gone. Also, I have been testing for ovulation with strips and only had a faint line one day (false positive?) and just blank afterwards. Am I not ovulating? I nver had problems with ovulation before and hubby has great sperm count. Is anybody out there experiencing the same problem? I am 37 husband 39, we have been trying for about 8 months. Baby dust to all of you!!

It is always on time but I am taking clomid and last month it was two days early. I will wait a week to make sure. How do you keep from stressing and getting your hopes up! Getting pregnant comsumes my mind every minute and to hear that my cousin who is 5 months older just found out she was pregnant is not helping, Don't get me wrong I am happy for her!!!!

Geya823 - I just try and take it one day at a time and it is really hard because I want this so bad. My clock is ticking loud I turned 40 back in Jun. I understand about the clomid last cycle AF came a few days early which threw me off. She is suppose to show up on Aug 4 so we will see in about 10 days. I am keeping my fingers cross for you. Hi ya Geya823 and good luck i hope it your lucky month please tell us how you get on i really hope it positive it will give us all a bit of hope and hello Krissy68 i hope you doing ok i am on day 21 and i am driving my self mad i can feel AF coming and i just now i not pregnant this month i was feeling so positive though at the beginning but i am now driving my self mad. I want my own child so badly now. Everyone seems to be pregnant in my family and i just wish it was my turn. It nice speaking to people who understand. Good luck to you all baby dust x x

hi mandi, well, I took a five dosage for two months for the 3-7 days of medication and got pregnant after the second try.... i had been trying for two years naturally after having a miscarage at four months so I was so happy that the clomid worked for me... now i'm thinking about going back to my doctor to get it again so that we can try for our little girl... hope this helps.
