I know what you are talking about today is cd 24 9dpo and I still have a few days before I can test but I am feeling what is the use when I know AF is just around the corner. I'm not having any signs yet but I just feel like she is if that make any sense. I mind as well prepare myself that she will be here anywhere between 5 to 7 days. so the countdown has begun :( HOPEFULLY i get preggers in august since it will soon be my birthday :) keeping my fingers crossed. What does the robitussin and baby asprin do? does it help any to be preggers?

TCC2008: If you are on Clomid the 81 mg Aspirin "baby aspirin" helps with building up the uterine lining and also helps to prevent possible blood clots that could prevent fetal development. - mucinex or robitussin can be used after the last dose of Clomid up until ovulation to help thin out your cervical mucus making a better environment for the sperm to survive and do their job. Clomid dries up cervical mucus which makes for a hostile environment for the sperm. =

when would I start the robitessin? and for how long?

Hi, I'm new to Clomid. I will start taking it tonight, CD 3-7 and then will start Mucinex (Guifenisin) on day 8. I am both excited and scared. I prefer to have one baby at a time, but twins might not be so bad considering I am 37 and have been trying for 2.5 years already (2 MC's). It's great to be here, I am enjoying reading your posts! :)

Here is my updated. I tested with a opk test and got a faint pos then I tested with a hpt and it was Neg I am cd 27 12dpo and my temp went back up from yesterday 98.39 to 98.55 so that is good and I am 12 days above my coverline if that means anything. Anyway AF is suppose to be here between Aug 2-4 and I am still preparing myself for her arrival. Anyway I called my doctor and talk to the nurse and told her I tested and it was neg and she said not to worry cause I am not late yet and if I do get my period to do my 3rd round of clomid/estrogen/progesterone gel and if I'm not pg after that round to make an appointment and we will go from there. Welcome Casperetta and good luck. Hello krissy 68 i hope you are pregnant i am on day 25 and driving my self mad however quite emotional this week i alawayys find this week the worst. I finding it difficult as i see my nan everyday before work and she keeps going on bout my cousins pregnancies (16 and 18) and i finding it hard to cope to think i been trying all this time and them two have a mess up n they have babies on the way but then i feel quilty for feeling like that. i just wish that i had been the next one having a baby. O i hate having to feel like this the only positive thing is that if i do have a child i now know that i will never take it for granted and it will always come first i think i will be a better mother because of how hard it has been to concieve a child in the first place we will all be. We have to go through all this month after month and still nothing. I will have to keep all of us in prayers. How are you doing? I'm on cd 28 13dpo and my temp went down some from yesterday 98.55 to 98.39 it seem to me it is being a yoyo. The good thing is that I have been 13 days above my coverline so I guess that is a good thing. My lower back is killing me and my stomach is starting to have some cramping off and on but nothing major just my lower back. I did decide not to test today so I wouldn't be all sad and down. AF should be here in the next 1 to 3 days. I will let you know on Monday one way or another. Keeping my fingers cross for you.

I'm not having any signs really except my lower back in killing me and I am having cramps off and on but nothing major on the cramps. I decided not to test today so I wouldn't be down and sad. Hello! After reading all posts, it made me feel like I am not so alone. It seems like everyone, except 1 friend, has gotten pregnant so easily. After 1 miscarriage at 9.5 weeks and 1 chemical pregnancy, I am ready to hold a baby in my hands. I am starting clomid 50mg for the first time in 3 days (days 5-9). Do I definitely need to do the robitusson thing and the opk along with the clomid? I need all the advice I can get. This is scary. I just moved and really don't have many people to talk to about this. Please help and give me hope!!! :o)

Hello and good luck punktaw? i hope you doing ok and i am also on 50mg of clomid. This is day 26 and i can feel AF approaching i getting all my usual signs. I not sure if i will be coming on today or monday as i O on day 12 so14 days after is today so will see how it goes. baby dust again to everyone and i loving this site it is keeping me sane lol

Thanks for your response. I want to take robitussin right after the last dose of clomid, but not sure if it's the best plan. Yeah, my name is Punktaw because my dad calls me punk for short and when I went to college, we were the choctaws, so i combined them...and its stuck! haha. I pray that everyone gets to hold a baby in their arms!!!

Sorry to here that krissy 68 but please dont i know how ya feel AF turned up for me to excatly 28 days but i dont know what went wrong we bd on the right days so why am i not pregnant does it mean it did not work. Also i on 50mg again this month do u think i should get it increased or could it still work even if it didnt last month. Also how does the estorgen/progesterone gel work what does that help with. I will be testing for ovulation this month wit the sticks. Please dont give up krissy 68 we could be cycle buddies k x x baby dust

Krazydaisy666 - I will not give up but I'm 40 and I think my time is about up. Also I will be doing my 3rd and final round of the clomid/estrogen/progesternone treatment plan. If it was me I would do another round of the 50mg. Is your meds prescribe? Also if you want to find out more about the treatment plan my doctor have me on you can google it (prochieve 8) you want to follow the treatment plan but you will have to get your meds from your doctor. I do not have periods for a year before I start clomid treatment, so I don't know my regular cycle. I started 1st round of clomid, how do i know when to start the 2nd round of clomid?
