Hi Ladies I thought I would create our new page since it is October! We have one BFP already with IBS! GRATS IBS!!! You lucky girl! This is our month! Lets get them BFP's going!

have4want2more - October 2nd, 2009 12:08 PM

Just thought I'd check in...I'm due to start tomorrow, still have temps around 99.2, and got a BFN 10 DPO. I'm 13 DPO and I'm waiting to test again till Monday, or at least I'm trying to wait till then. I'm feeling hopeful! I've also been exhausted all week.

I do have a rather gross question for y'all.Sorry this is TMI! On Wednesday, I had one very brief, heavy discharge. It wasn't blood, like I know may happen when you experience implantation bleeding. It was white/mucusy stuff. Has anyone ever heard of or experienced this...is there some sort of mucusy implanation discharge? Thanks in advance if anyone knows...good luck to you all!I hope there are lots of BFPs here!

Bobbie

have4want2more : I had the same thing for about a week before my AF came (I am on clomid) It was like half cooked egg white and there was quite allot of it. I am not sure what it is but I think I know what you mean.

AFM: round 2 of clomid, went to Dr. yesterday and he increased me to 100mg. On day 11 I am going in for a scan which is new and I have never had one. I think the technology is just so wonderful! I am excited about round two on clomid and my Dr. is very confident that clomid will work for me. I hope he is right!!!! TTYL

wifelady - October 2nd, 2009 1:43 PM

have4want2more- I never experienced implantation bleeding with either of my pregnancies so i am not sure. I do know that my discharge increased a lot the closer i got to being able to test, sometimes i was even sure it was AF. Sorry i'm not much help, hang in there!

rosenow- What cd are you on?? Thats exciting that you get to go in for a scan, i've never had one either!

As for me- I kind of fell off the september page because i was so busy, but i am starting fresh and determined! haha I am on cd 13 just taking my opk's and waiting for a positive but still bding in the mean time! I took 100 mg clomid cd 2-5 and cd 7 it was gonna be cd 6 but i missed it so just took it on cd 7! Anyways, really excited about this cycle so we'll see what happens! BABY DUST TO US ALL!! I'm praying for every single one of us! and congrats to all recent bfps!!!

wewant3 - October 2nd, 2009 2:22 PM

Hey wifelady, we are cycle buddies girlfriend. I am on cd 12. I havent started taking opks yet bc i usually dont o until later. I am just praying i do actually o this month. Bding like crazy, i am sure you are too!

SoReady - October 2nd, 2009 3:28 PM

Heu ladies - Who is testing this weekend?

rosenow - October 2nd, 2009 4:31 PM

Wife: I am CD 5 today. TAking the clomid days 5-9 so I just took my dose at three. I am a teacher so I like to take it after my classes so that I do not bite the heads of my poor kids lol. Or make them freeze when I have hot flashes lol

hrath2009 - October 2nd, 2009 5:19 PM

Hey ladies! How is everyone today? Well im super busy this weekend with my parents party so dont be suprised if i dont post. Good luck to all the ladies starting there next cycle. Hopefully i will be starting soon. Well have a good nite ladies! Tons of baby dust to all!

wifelady - October 2nd, 2009 7:36 PM

wewant3- Hey girl, Yeah i'm definently bd'ing like crazy! I started taking my opk's but of course every negative one is just frustrating haha!!! Can't wait to get a positive opk so i can be on to the tww! What cd will you start opk's??

rosenow- I can relate with the side effects. I took mine at night and would wake up with some serious hot flashes and would make my husband freeze!

rosenow - October 2nd, 2009 11:48 PM

wife: hubby has his own blankets for clomid nights!!! poor fella! I played hockey tonight and had a couple hot flashes, caoch thought I was just playing my heart out because I was so red and hot. Got some browny points there. I will miss hockey when I am preggers. We are getting light flurries of snow so it's nice and cool and the school were I wonrk has not turned on the heat yet so I am pretty covert there lol. Actually my first round of clomid was nice and easy. I did not have many side effects at all. This time I am on 100mg instead of 50mg.

Is it common for Dr. to put you on 100mg if 50mg of clomid made you ovulate?

wifelady - October 3rd, 2009 12:07 PM

rosenow- I think it just depends on your doctor. I think they figure that it doesn't matter whether you ovulate, it matters whether you get pregnant. So even if you ovulate, if you don't end up preggers then they'll up your dose. Some will wait a few cycles and some will do what yours did and up it right away. It probably also depends on your history of TTC you know? Well hopefully the side effects will mellow out a little. If you have to take it next cycle you should take it right before bed... you'll sleep through the major side effects :)

happidaz - October 3rd, 2009 4:07 PM

i'm currently on cd3 which is great cause it corresponds to the actual calendar day and allows me to remember it easier. i'm taking clomid days 2-6 at 100 mg. this is my second cycle. i expect to ovulate between oct 12-14, and will start opk testing at cd 10 twice a day. i don't know whether to bd every 2 days, or to try bding daily around ovulation. anyway, happy baby dust to all!

LaLa_LaLa_LaLa - October 3rd, 2009 5:20 PM

Hi Ladies - Happy October to you all and here's to hoping we get a truckload of BFP's this month!

have4want2more - crossing my fingers that af doesn't show and your test is positive Monday (if you can wait that long! I def. couldn't - much too snoopy!). Also, I have a girlfriend who, due to super hormone production in early pregnancy had LOADS of cm prior to getting her clomid induced BFP. I hope that's the case for you!

rosenow - yay about the dosage increase! He most likely increased you from 50 to 100 because even though you o'ed, it didn't result in a pg, so sounds like he's attempting to up your chances of pg by giving the swimmers more than one target with intentionally increasing your egg prodution. On the plus side, there is a definate correlation between increased dosage and multiples and am hoping this is your month! Make sure you let us know what you see on your scan! *crosses fingers for two or more follies*
Also, where do you live where you're already getting snow? I'm live in Western Canada (where brutal winters are a sad fact of life) and even we haven't seen snow yet...

wifelady - I'm excited and optimistic for you! Perhaps missing CD6 and taking it on CD7 will make an impact? Hoping it will.

happydaz - ooh, cycle 2 must be so exciting! I've read that cycle 1 is often a bust, but cycle 2 & 3 are when pregnancy most often takes. I sincerely hope that in 3 weeks or so you'll be announcing your impending arrival(s)!

As for me, I'm on CD6 and impatiently waiting for my HSG which I had to pitch a FIT to schedule this cycle on CD10 on October 7th. Then, if all goes well (and I'm confident it will!) I'll be starting cycle 1 of clomid on or around the 27th. In the meantime, I've declared the remainder of October "The Month In Which We Drink Far Too Much Wine" as I am PLANNING ON BEING PREGNANT COME NOVEMBER, DARN IT! The wait between now and the 27th would normally be excruciatingly slow - but it will FLY by - due to (not only the *hic* wine, tee hee!) but also the FABULOUS new job that I am starting on the 14th.

Baby Dust to all!

Lala xoxo

divadivina2u - October 4th, 2009 1:13 AM

wifelady - October 4th, 2009 2:11 AM

happidaz- you're so lucky your cycle corresponds with calender days! haha i'm having such a hard time keeping track! i always have to go to my ff chart to make sure i'm right!!! haha

Lala- I'm hoping that by taking the clomid that way it wil turn out to be my lucky charm and not screw me up. I'm just anxiously awaiting the tww! I find your wine thing way too funny because thats how i felt last month!!! Haha... no more for me though because hopefully this cycle will turn in to a bfp! Fingers crossed!

Diva- It's been such a long time! How are you doing?? I am definently waiting for ov. but bd'ing in the process... i've had some serious o pains so heres hoping! :) Can't wait for you to start your cycle!

SoReady - October 4th, 2009 3:54 AM

LaLa - It is good to hear that you are so positive about you plan. I got prego with my 3yr old in Nov. and gt an Aug. baby. So we will not be trying in Nov. so he doesnt have to share his b-day month.

I am 10dpo today and I tested this morning . . . BFN. I know that it is early still so I'm not disappointed. I think that I am gonna ask my OB for a bllod test next week.

Alots of BABY DUST!!!
