Hi Niobe, Good luck and best wishes to you on your journey!

My story is a little different. I cannot tell you that 50 mg of clomid on CD3-7 for sure produced my twins. That was the days and amount I took it the first and second month. My first month I did not conceive at all. The second month is when I had success. My DH and I had been TTC for 19 months with losing 4 previous pregnancies very early on during that time. Sadly, we lost our twins a month apart from one another. 9 weeks with the first and almost 14 weeks with the second one.

I am a fraternal twin, my daughter is a twin(we lost her twin during mid pregnancy)my great grandfather(mom's grandfather) is from a set of triplets, as are his siblings, as well as twin siblings(three sets of multiples all spontaneous from my great-great grandmother...mom's side). ALL listed in this paragraph are spontaneous conceptions.

So, as you can see, my family history is STRONG with spontaneous multiples. So, no guarantees that clomid helped. It did help to carry longer than before, but my placentas were not mature, therefore, my twins could not stick around and stay with us.

The third round, was this past month, 100mg CD2-6.

I am due the first week of December. I have no idea how many I will have. We are sincerely looking for a healthy pregnancy no matter what!

I would say that you have a small chance of conceiving twins(not you personally, but anyone taking it) because our bodies will do what they will do.

This was cycle 20 for us with unexplained infertility.

Baby dust and blessings to you.

Good luck to all!!!

STICKY babies to all of us expecting :)
