Hi, I was just wondering if the results are the same with Generic and Name Brand Clomid. Does it really matter? Does the generic work the same?

Generally speaking generic is by all pretenses it is and will work the same.. however in my experience they do make it a bit weaker then the brand name which is why the generic is or more often then not cheaper then brand name.

The FDA has strict regulations about generic meds. They have to be the same as the brand name... same strength, same ingredients, even the same size and color in some cases (Coumadin). They cannot be weaker or stronger than the brand name ones. If you are getting unprescibed Clomid from another country, please keep in mind that they don't have to follow the US's FDA regulations and may, in fact, be weaker (or contain other ingredients) than "real" Clomid.
