HCG Level High

My levels were 211 on 7/22 and then 4925 on the 7/27. If I did the math correctly, doubling every 48 hours my levels should have been around 2500 on the 27th. Is this an indication of twins? I'm an identical twin and obviously it runs in the family on my mothers both sides (mom and father) and runs on his mothers side.

I had high hcg levels in early pg that more than doubled in 48 hours also. Unfortunately, hcg levels or doubling times don't really tell you anything about multiple pregnancies. So far, I only know for sure of one baby (although I SWEAR there are two in here!) Sorry!
