Hepatitis C And Twins

I am 16 weeks pregnant with twins, the babys' father and I both have Hepatitis C. My GI told me that there is only about 2-3% chance of them contracting it from me. I don't see how that's possible being that they are feeding off of me, which brought me to the question...where do babies get their blood? I know that sounds silly, but I don't have the same blood type as my mother and my oldest does not have my blood type. Has anyone heard anything different statistically or experienced a birth with Hep C? Thanks!
