SoReady..thank you! I was due yesterday for AF and the dr did a blood test for preg and picked up nothing. Is it possible that it was just too early to have high enough levels in my system to pick it up, even with a blood test?

unconventional - June 6th, 2009 11:23 AM

Ladies, I found some information on WebMd that is both helpful and for me, hopeful. I will be calling my Dr Monday morning to ask which I have.

WebMd lists two types of benign cysts, follicular and luteal. This is what it says:

A follicular cyst occurs when a sac on the ovary does not release an egg, and the sac swells up with fluid.

A luteal cyst occurs when the sac releases an egg and then reseals and fills with fluid.

If I o'd late and have luteal cysts, I could still be pregnant and tests, even blood, aren't picking them up yet. Maybe I'm grasping at straws here, I'm guessing I have follicular.

So in a way, I wish my period would just start already because then I'd know, yet on the other hand, then it would mean I wasn't pregnant.

Trying not to be anxious here :)

Thanks for all the awesome support here!

SoReady - Thank you for the words of encouragement. I really need some help. Yesterday I was cd 24/10 dpo and my temp was 98.69 and today my temp went down to 98.20 but I want to blame it on my fiance wanting to talk before I could take my temp and then we bd. Here are the signs I am having today: still a little crampy, lower back hurting, super tired, stomache feeling queesy and I am a little nausuated and now for a slight second I was dizzy. According to fertility friend I can take a hpt today since it is 5 days before AF but I chickened out and didn't test. I do have some hpt off the internet can you use them anytime of the day. I was thinking if my temp start going back up then I would maybe test on Wednesday. Please help. Krissy68

unconventional - there is nothing wrong with being hopeful! Did you call you dr? What did they say about the cysts?

Krissy - I dont do BBT so I'm not sure about the temp shift. I bought some hpt's over the internet as well and it is my understanding that you can use them anytime. Your first mornings pee is always best though because there are more hormones in it from sitting in your bladder over night. My OB told me to wait until 14 or 15dpo. I plan on taking test starting at 10dpo. So I think you should try. I hope that you get a +. Good Luck!

Good morning to everyone and hope everbody is in highhopes!! I am new to this board (or should I say any board), I've been reading these boards and I am now finally posting. This month is my first round on clomid I'm taking 100mg cd2-6 (perscribed), I know it's a high amount but we've been trying for 2 years with no explenation. I ovulate regular and DH has a good count, not great but good. I am on CD10 and still have not uvulated...hoping to ovulate within the next couple days. I usually O on or around CD14. My only sideaffect has been slight headached and hot flashes. I would like to see when everyone else's schedule is, when you ovulated and if it was a success. Sorry, I know this is a long post but I am just too excited to finally be posting.....***Baby dust to everyone***

Also has anyone experienced a stretching or full feeling in your overies???....I have felt this in both of mine...

SoReady - June 9th, 2009 2:42 PM

holly - I wish I could help you with that but I havent started on clomid yet. sorry.

Unconventional & krissy - How are yall doing? Have either of you tested today?

unconventional did you call you dr?

Krissy68 - June 9th, 2009 5:36 PM

SoReady - How are you doing? Yes I did test yesterday and it was a bfn I was only 11dpo and I wasn't upset or depress. I am happy today because my temp did go up some from yesterday 98.20 to 98.39 so I am hoping this is a good sign. AF should be here around 12-15 but I'm hoping she don't show up. If my temp continue to go up then I will test in a few more days. I'm still feeling real tired like I need a nap, lower back is hurting off and on, boobs are a little sore, bloated, constipated a little, stomache feel upset, queesy and nausuated, starving like I haven't ate in a week. I think that is about it.

holly8861 - Welcome to the group and good luck to you this cycle. Please keep us updated. It has been awhile since I took clomid but I never really had any major side effects from the medicine. I did get slight headache but after I took the last pill it would stop and I would ovulate late. I hope this help you out some. Krissy68

Hey ladies I just wanted to tell you AF found me at 3am. Krissy68

SoReady - June 12th, 2009 4:51 AM

For all of you prego ladies:

There is a product on the market that claims that it can predict the gender of you baby. All you have to do is a simple urine test first thing in the morning. It sounds like a lot of fun. It is called Intelligender. You can find it at most pharmacies such as: Walgreens, Snyders, and USA Drud. the approx. cost for this test is $34.99 If you want more information about it then check out this website: (intelligender dot com/index dot php) I dont know if it works on twins, maybe the website can answer that question. I know that I am certainly eagar to try it.

7lilpigs - June 12th, 2009 10:49 AM

I'm pretty sure the intelligenders are a con, I've even read somewhere that they may possibly blow up!! Please google it before you part with any money or try it. One of the best ways to have a good guess about babies gender is to see if you can see the angle of the gender nub at your 12-13 week scan. I knew what my sisters twins were by using this method.

SoReady - June 12th, 2009 11:37 AM

u/s are always the best way to find out before the baby is bore but this just sounds like a fun product.

Krissy68 - June 12th, 2009 5:39 PM

Hi all!

Quick update, AF showed up this week. The cysts will resolve and are not a big concern but I am going to back on bc for a couple of months, give my body time to heal, and try much lower dose of 50mg clomid on cycle days 3-7.

I will be logging into read the experience(s) of others, please keep posting them!

BabyDust to all!
