Husband Had Twins Before

Hi everyone,

At 19 my dh got his g/f pregnant with twins. This was quite a few years ago. I am 5 weeks 6 days and I am curious as of to if it is possible that we have conceived twins. I see the chances as very rare but I am still curious. My symptoms seem relatively normal. I won’t get my first ultrasound until June 15, 2006. I am just curious as of to what the odds may be that we could be having twins. Someone mentioned it today. I would be happy about it. 2 in one shot…. I probably wouldn’t have anymore after this. M/S is horrible…. Mainly just constant nausea but it is hard to fight off. If I stop munching on stuff is when I get nauseous.

Twins would have to run in your family for you to conceive twins. So it actually wasn't your husband that got her prego with twins...it was her body that got her prego with twins.

yeah, sorry nell, it has to run on your side of the family, or your body produces the twins. in my case, it was my mom's side. because i conceived naturally with no drugs, i'm only 27 and i am 5'2 and 125lbs. that is the only thing i can think of that made me get the twins. even though triplets run on my husbands side, i can't blame it on him. :)
