I have two uteruses and two cervixes and I can get pregnant in both uteruses at the same time not at seperate times I also had a vaginal septum.

It is possible but very rare. I know because a friend of mine had sex with her husband. And the next day he went away on buiness. During the weekend he was gone she had sex with her lover. She found out she was pregnant six weeks later. During an ultrasound she was told she was having fraternal twins. When the girls were born her didn't believe that they were his so her ordered a DNA test and when the test came back it said one of the girls was his and the other was not. They ran the test two more times because they thought there had to be some kind of mistake. When they ran it it still came back that one girl wasn't his.

I have heard of this before. I know of someone who claims they were the second child concieved while their mother was already pregnant. He was born severaly small and his growth is stunted.
I also believe I read someone elses relpy about being told they had miscarried then months later were still pregnant. That can happen. I was told that I had miscarried a week later my levels came back as if I was still pregnant. It turns out I originally had been carrying twins but lost one. The one that survived I didnt carry full term she was born a little over a month early. She spent two plus weeks in the NICU. While I made my seven trips up a day to see her I witnessed many things. Babies almost as small as the mouse for my computer. Babies weighing in less then a pound and nearly a dozen sets of twins along with one set of five. Babies fighting against the odds and surviving. So in my opinion I guess I do belive its possiable. So many other things are...

i was 7 months pregnant when i lost my triplets i got pregnant 2 weeks after i lost them. how is that possible?

In reply to emilys question I believe your able to get pregnant within a few days after having a baby, so I would assume it would be the same for a miscarriage.

No, the only way to conceive twins is if there are 2 eggs - not 2 uterus'. Anytime you have recently had a child or even a miscarriage, you are extremely fertile and can easily conceive a 2nd time. NEVER 2 pregnancies at 1 time. This is a professional statement made by a physician.

My sister-in-law is pregnant with triplets - two of the triplets are identical (coming from the same fertilized egg) and the other triplet was from a separate egg. The ultrasound clearly shows that the baby from the single egg is ONE WEEK OLDER than the identical twins. The doctor has confirmed this and got a second opinion. It is possible to get pregnant once you are already pregnant - but I would imagine only for a certain amount of time. I'm not sure that you could get pregnant when you are three months pregnant.

This woman must be going throgh hell and you are just making it worse. I know a woman who had twins twice in a row and then had a set a triplets!! I had twins the very first time that i tried to get pregnant. Some people are just that way. I wish carlena the best. And I think Miss Jennifer needs to tell carlena she is sorry for making up such a story. but I know she wont. So Im saying it for her. I am a fraternal twin (b/g) and I was conceived one moth after my brother, although sounds impossible, it is very rare. Some women continue to menstrate...No period/just delivery of egg.

My midwife just told me that I conceived twice in the same cycle and yes it does happen. We lost the first pregnancy (the yolk sac disappeared and then the sac) and now we have a younger embryo witha heartbeat...it is only 2 weeks younger..I know it is bizarre but it does happen even when it shouldn't.
