My midwife just told me that I conceived twice in the same cycle and yes it does happen. We lost the first pregnancy (the yolk sac disappeared and then the sac) and now we have a younger embryo witha heartbeat...it is only 2 weeks younger..I know it is bizarre but it does happen even when it shouldn't.

My aunt got pregnant with a second baby after already being pregnant about 1-1 1/2 months. Unfortunately, she miscarried both babies, but it does happen.

Superfetation occurs when a women ovulates more than one egg but the eggs are released at different times, sometimes up to 24 days apart, and they are fertilized when they are released. Some people just don't know how to read. It's called Superfetation. It's real, it exists, it happens. There are also women with two uteruses, cervixes, vaginas, etc. It's real, it exists, it happens. READ before you assume.
