if you have 2 uteruses it is possible to get pregnant, but that condition is VERY VERY rare... so dont count on it.

I CAN BELIEVE THAT A SANE PERSON COULD COME UP WITH WHAT YOU DID CARLY! LIFE IS SO FRAGILE. YOU MUST BE A REALLY SICK PERSON TO COME UP WITH ALL THAT YOU DID. YOU HAD BETTER HOPE AND PRAY THAT ALL YOU SAID DONT COME TO PASS FOR YOU. THAT WOULD BE AN AWFUL THING TO WITHSTAND. I THINK YOU NEED TO GO GET HELP. YOU REALLY NEED IT. LIFE IS TO FRAGILE TO PLAY AROUND WITH LIKE YOU DID. YOU SHOULD BE REALLY ASHAMED OF YOURSELF! IT WAS RIGHT OF YOU TO CONFESS THOUGH. THATS A START. NOW YOU SHOULD GO GET SERIOUS HELP FROM A SHRINK. GOD HELP YOU.

I have a double uterus, and when one side is pregnant, the other side thinks it is. It is impossible to get pregnant while already pregnant. Although, both sides can be pregnant. It is harder to get pregnant when you have 2 uteruses. Silly, you would think it would double your chances. But then you have to worry about what side your pregnant, because one side is usually bigger than the other, and have more of a chance to go further in the pregnancy. Its complicated. I learned through my doctor that because my mother used drugs and alchohol while i was in the womb, my uterus never grew together. Which is why i have two. Thats about all i know.

that is just silly you can't get pregnant, when you are already.

Heres the FACTS - August 26th, 2005 4:31 AM

OMG, some of you are just so funny.

Once an egg is released, a womans body releases hormones which prevent any other eggs from maturing/being released. It would be unusual but not unheard of for multiple ovulation to occur. The instances of twins being a week or two apart is easily explained - different IMPLANTATION dates. That is, when the fertilised egg attaches to the wall of the uterus and begins to develop. It is possible to have 2 fathers for the one twin pregnancy (Ever read Tommo Hawk by Bryce Courtney?)
The mucous plug is formed at about 12 weeks (Hence the reduced risk for miscarriage after this date)

Good luck ladies, but I wouldn't be too concerned about conceiving a second child if you're already pregnant!!

You know, I just got on this site for the first time and was reading through the questions and comments. I really wanted to get on here and ask a question dealing with cancer and possible pregnancy, but now I know that I do not want any advice from people who cant act like adults. If that was the case, I would go ask my 3 year old niece her opinion on it. I am sorry I ever looked at this site and considered asking anyone on here my questions.

If you are 9 weeks pregant how many months are you?

JC to Brian - September 17th, 2005 5:42 AM

That is a good question no one can seem to agree on and really dont know, my advice to you would be to talk to a doctor who could really tell you. I got on this site once and didnt like it because all people do on here is argue...so if you dont want the different opinions and arguing...ask your doctor

get a paternity test!

My2Cent - September 21st, 2005 12:49 PM

It is possible to get pregnant if your already pregnant but highly unlikely for this to happen at 3 or 5 or 5 months into your pregnancy. I recently lost twins, Ultrasound showed that 1 was 3 days smaller than the other. I obviously released two eggs at ovulation time 1 to 2 days apart. Both were released at the same time but fertilized on diff. days. As for the woman who had twin babies- one whit and one mixed, That was because she had sexd with two diff. men within 5 day fertile period around ovulation and one sperm from the husband fertilized one egg whill the sperm from the black man fertilized the other thus giving her fraternal twins of diffrent races.

Carly - September 23rd, 2005 3:07 AM

i was telling the truth, so there. you can't judge me and you should be sorry.
