Brian, I believe that it is possible. My sister in law was a high risk pregnancy and had many ultrasounds. During the first two, there was one baby that was measuring right where it should be. During her thrid ultrasound, there was a second fetus that was growing, but quite a few weeks behind the first fetus. As her pregnancy progressed, they grew at the rate that babies should grow, but the second baby was still measuring way behind. My niece was born six weeks early, the second baby did not survive labor because it was too premature. Just so you know, it is not a period that causes the egg to be released. Ovulation actually occurs in between periods. The period usually comes about a week and half to two weeks after ovulation. Good luck.

From what I understand 3 months difference is extremely unlikely. But it is possible. I believe there have only been 25 known cases in history

No you cannot get pregnant while 3 months pregnant. Although it is possible to get pregnant by 2 different men BUT it has to be within days not months.

redeem, thanks for your sympathy. but i will probaby not try to get pregnant for a while.. my hubby is getting transfered. we are moving to norfolk, va in june. He is going out to sea and this last pregnancy came at the wrong time... i would have been due right before we moved.. we are driving cross country... from Washington and it would be a 7-10 day drive.. hubby wants to go sight seeing.. It probably worked better this way.. even though in my heart it doesn't feel that way..

to betty,Redeem and Carlena - December 5th, 2004 10:43 PM

To Carlena...I am very sorry for your loss and I hope you know you have friends here if you need someone to chat with.To Redeem...great posting. It takes a real woman/man to wait for facts. To Betty...you couldn't possibly have children.Parents are supposed to be loving and nurturing, not impatient and one-sided.I know growing up can be stressful, but honey, you have to do it sooner or later. :-)

just to update. I lost them all. they said my uterus was to my bellybutton but no babies.. while i was there they heard me coughing and did xrays.. I have double walking pnuemonia.. they checked my oxygen levels and almost sent me to the hospital 10 miles away..via ambulance.. but sent me home with lots of antibiotics because my oxygen level was at 96% and i had a fever of 99.8.. my hubby just left for work, but he is coming right home because the docs said im so highly contangious that i am to be in bed for at least two days.. i have to go now.. i am real whoozy. sorry to have caused so much scuttlebut.. I guess im not entitled to write in this message area any more because i lost them.. thanks for listening.

Any thing is possible - December 9th, 2004 11:33 AM

YES IT IS POSSIBLE TO GET PREGNANT WHILE STILL PREGNANT. 2 YEARS AGO I WAS 5 MONTHS PREGNANT WITH A LITTLE BOY AND WAS HEART BROKEN WHEN I ENDED UP HAVING A MISCARRIAGE. I WENT BACK TO THE DOCTOR FOR A CHECK UP AND I WAS PREGNANT AGAIN. NO I HAD NOT HAD SEX SINCE MY FIRST PREGNANCY(4 months) AND DID NOT KNOW THAT IT WAS POSSIBLE . SO YES ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN.
