Yes, I conceived while pregnant, and miscarraiged. I got pregnant again, and again misscarriaged, but still carried the original fetus!! So I guess I'm from a freak circus too, hey? I understand it's common in cows, but very very rare for humans...I went through hell, because I didn't know what was happening!! Each time I miscarriaged, I got an ultrasound and there was still a fetus there! I had actually physically brought in the two other fetuses that I miscarriaged!

By the way, I only have one uterus and one vagina, so there is something that causes this rarity, and believe me, it wasn't easy going through it, either!!!

The sex of the fetus can usually be determined by 20 weeks (if the baby cooperates) I had no idea I was pregnant with twins, but now that I know, the symptoms that are very different from my other two pregnancies were the "daily" sickness (not only morning) and pressure/pain in my pelvic area. I experience this pelvic pain during the 9th month with my last baby and she weighed 8 lbs 15 oz. This time I felt pressure beginning in month 3. But I still never thought about twins. My only sibling, a sister has twins, so I thought it would skip me. Anyway I am now 6 months. I found out the that they were twin boys at my first ultrasound at 20 weeks. I feel a lot better, now that I decided to try eating many small meals (really I snack all day) instead of 3 big ones. But I try to stay healthy, fruits, fruit cups, pre-made salads. Things that are easy to pack in a little tote bag.

Hi, this is my first time posting a msg. A lot of people are experiencing what i have. i have been having pregnancy symptoms since about two days after my last period. I get nausea for no reason, it comes from nowhere. but i can go all day without an appetite but then when i start eating i can't stop. i have been having unusaual pains on the left side mostly, in my lower pelvic area but then it switches sides. now i am starting to get headaches. my period is a few weeks off but i took a hpt a few days ago and it came out negative. i had tests run for my thyroid and it came back normal. Oh..my stomach is HUGE eventhough i have been working out. Should i stop exercising until i find out if i am actually pregnant? Please help if you know. thanks

This happened to me, and yes, I lost the original fetus as well! So This is an exerpt from the net! I am the one that wrote twice earlier today! The message board is good, but there are som real idiots out there that I certainly wouldn't want to ever meet!!

Hi there everyone. I am here to apologize for my daughter. Carly is a troubled youth, ad will no longer on the internet. I am so sorry for her trouble and lies. Good luck and enjoy the rest of your pregnancies.

My aunt did have 2 uterus and continued to have her period while she was pregnant. She did not get pregnant while she was already pregnant but now she has had a hysterectomy and yes there were too. "Mimi" is being very rude and uncalled for, becuase I have a family member who experienced this. And I wouldn't like about those things.

Does anyone know if you can be pregnant with 2 children from 2 different dads at the same time?

Shelly - January 30th, 2005 5:41 PM

It is possible to get pregnant while you are pregnant, although rare. People claiming to be RN's and doctors who say it is not, really need to get some more schooling. Yes it is possible, no..you shouldn't worry about it.

All of you need to report these people to the website under "poor taste" or you need to get out your internet service provider and get them involoved. This is uncalled for.

search on the internet "ovulating twice in one month" and you will find that, yes, it is possible to get pregnant while pregnant and for babies to be two different gestational ages. Im sure its a rare occurance but still within the rhelm of possibility. One thing to think about is that Fraternal twins come from two seperate eggs. That means each egg was fertilized seperately. If that can happen, and it does, then I would have to say that anything is possible.

what do we o to prevent pregnancy if already pregnant?

Tara - February 8th, 2005 9:00 PM

Can u get pregnant when u don't have normal cycles?

Tara - February 8th, 2005 9:01 PM

Is it possible to get pregnant when you don't have regular cycles anyways?

M - February 9th, 2005 3:49 AM

No, it is not. Once a woman becomes pregnant, her body stops ovulating and concentrates on the development of the new fetus(baby). It is impossible to get newly pregnant as the uterine lining has already adapted to the present placenta, no other implantations will survive even if artificially introduced which would be extremely bizarre (to date there are no studies that say otherwise that I have read so far, I really don't think anyone is even looking at this topic!)

ok my reproduction organs are freaky, I ovulate every eight days. I have 2 day periods. I get pregnant while pregnant. I ovulate while pregnant. I miscarry while still pregnant. I have sucessfully carried only two children and have miscarried 15. but then again this is normal for me. I don't know about other people.
