Hi,
I am so glad I found this forum. I have always had fertility issues. I had a 12 wk. m/c at 17yrs. old (got pg with 1st boyfriend), and another, an 8week m/c at 34 yrs. I was married to my wonderful DH at 39 yrs., on 06/03/06, and blessed with a pg 6 months later. I knew something was wrong almost right away. I researched my symptoms which included brownish bleeding, and diagnosed myself with an ectopic pg even before the Dr's. detected it. Well, I had to have surgery for a ruptured tube, which they removed. Over the last 15 months Dh and I have been seeing fertility doctors and have had a S/A for him and an HSG for me. I have been taking prenatal, b6, b complex, baby aspirin, folic acid, vitamin c, EPO before and progesterone cream after ovulation. My cycle and hormones had to be regulated over time as I guess the ectopic was such a shock and so hard on my body. We are good to go for another pg, and have been trying since June 2006. I will be 40 years old next month, and I am tired of waiting, sick of losing my babies, and am becoming poorer by the month with all the Dr. bills and whatnot. I bought Clomid this month and as it came late, I took it days 6-10. I had a few side effects; extra hungry, tired, some headaches and mood swings, but nothing intolerable. I am waiting to see what happens now. I am currently on cd 13. Wish me luck, as I wish each of you the same luck. May we find Clomid to be the answer to our prayers.

I meant to say we have been ttc again since June 2007.

why do these really old posts keep getting resurrected?

Krissy68 - April 21st, 2008 7:32 PM

mnirishrose - I'm on cd 11 so I guess me and you could be cycle buddies. I'm keeping my fingers cross for you and we are also close in age I will be 40 in June. Krissy68

mnirishrose - April 22nd, 2008 2:48 PM

Hi Krissy68-
Wow, we're only a month apart in age! How long have you been taking clomid? What do you think of it? I haven't had any really horrible side effects, just some cramping, minor headaches and few mood swings. I am having difficulty with my charting now, as my temps are higher from the clomid. Difficult to determine ovulation. I can't tell if I have, or when I will. Well, good luck to you! I'll be crossing my fingers for you also, and chanting BFP! BFP! :)

Krissy68 - April 23rd, 2008 7:36 PM

mnirishrose - what cd are you on? what days did you take clomid? I haven't had really too many s/e from taking clomid. This is my 3rd cycle of taking it. I have read that you should ovulate 5 to 9 days after your last pill. I know I should be ovulating on cd 18 and that is what is was last month as well. I will be keeping my fingers cross for you as well. Keep me posted. Krissy68

mnirishrose - April 27th, 2008 11:39 AM

Krissy-
I am on cd21. I finally ovulated yesterday on cd20! That's seems pretty late to me! The month after my hsg, I ov. on cd21, but that was a fluke. I usually ov. between cd12-14. Doesn't cd20 seem late to you? Do you think it's normal with the Clomid? Ah well, on to the tww...how are you doing? What cd? I imagine you are on the tww?

Krissy68 - April 28th, 2008 6:57 PM

mnirishrose - I'm on cd 18 as of today. I am totally confuse with the use of the opk I took 2 test on cd 14 and got a + then I took another one on cd 15 and got another + then i took one today cd 18 and got another + but today is my officially ovulation date according to fertlity friend I became fertile cd 15 and my last day is cd 19. What do you think about this. Another think on May 12 is when AF is suppose to show up so I counted from today's date until AF and that is 14 days so does that mean as of today I am in 2ww as well. doctorsar13 - September 16th, 2008 12:52 PM

Where did you buy your clomid from? I have had a hard time finding a place that is safe and that i would trust.

Krissy68 - September 16th, 2008 6:10 PM

doctorsar13 - I got my clomid from the doctor but I know some of the ladies do a google search and find it that way. Good Luck to you. Krissy68

wendytd - September 16th, 2008 11:32 PM

Hi doctorsar13, I just order mines from medsmex, I should be getting it next week, I couple of people told me they have order from this place...I'm really looking forward to it...Sending baby dust your way

ashley_1991 - September 17th, 2008 12:18 PM

where can you get clomid? is it safe to take unprescribed ? does it increase your chance in twins?

wendytd - September 17th, 2008 1:42 PM

Ashley- I know you can order it online but you should consult your doctor to make sure it is safe for you. Mines was prescribed but it is much cheaper to order online. Keep us updated and good luck to you....
