Clomid should help reduce the length of your cycle by helping the follicles mature faster. Taking it cd3-7 may give you more follies but they usually are not as mature as when it is taken cd5-9. When you have more follies, you will run ths risk of having a poorer quality of eggs which may not allow you to conceive. Good Luck. It is all a gamble.

I took my first 75mg yesterday - no side effects yet. However, I am thinking today I might only take 50mg because I am scared of overstimulating. When do side effects typically start - after I have finished taking the pills???

I took 100mg this morning and so far no s/e but i still have the rest of the day. I took my prenatal vitamins and after lunch im going to take my Omega 3 fish oil vitamin (its a huge transparent pill)

mommyoftwoboys-Ive herd some ladies say they dont have s/e and some get s/e 2 or 3 days after their last pill. Some even say say they can tell whuch side they are ovulating from. when i got pregnant with my son i dont remember feeling pains from ovulation i just knw that AF was 1 week late. My son is now 1yr and 16mnts

maria - u/p means unprescribed. That is what I am doing - I'm not being monitored at all. I just took 50mg and I am still debating if I should take 25mg more. Yesterday I took 75mg. I have no side effects yet but I am so scared of overstimulating. If something goes wrong I would feel like such an idiot having to try and explain what I did, you know?

When you got pregnant with your son were you on clomid? Or is this your very first time? This is my first time. If it doesn't work than I will try next cycle but then that is it for me!

When i got pregnant with my son it was with out "drugs" and i got pregnant that same month because came next month and AF was late and even though i had no symptoms (till i was about 2 or 3 months prego)I just knew i was and a HPT sure did prove it =)

I think if your very worried abuout over stimulating your oavaries you could have started out with 50 mg and then if that didint work for you this cycle then yu can upgrade to 100 mg if that mde you feel feel confortable. Me in the other hand im not too worried about that, ill worry if i fell tons of pain that i can even bed but im okay for right now

I rushed out of my house this morning that i forgot to take my Clomid this moring, im goonna go to my house at lunch time and take it hope fully it will still do its job jeje

mommyoftwoboys-and mariapaniagua.iam taking 50mg 3-7 and taking u/p. today was my last clomid day no s/e after all.my last cycle was 38 days long.iam fertile woman but hoping for twins.

how are you ladies doing? I am on CD 7 and took my last clomid this morning. I've had minor hot flashes but nothing bad. Kinda irratible and I am already feeling slight twinges in my right ovary!

I am so excited! I have no idea when I might ovulate since my cycles are soooooo long - I'm really hoping that clomid shortens them. I sooooo hope I get pregnant on my first cycle!

hi ladies iam new to this forum iam taking u/p clomid since my cycle is long and i like to have twins so i took my last clomid july 30. that make me cd10 no side s/e iam so happy! I have no idea when I might ovulate iam just waiting...and iam going to buy opk to see when iam ovulate i hope i will get this month my bfp on my first cycle .......and everyone else toooooo......

Hey ladies im just updating you all on how im doing.

UPDATE: So my husband and i bd today and i was sooooo dry that it hurt to have sex. I think im going to have to go to walmart or walgreens to buy pre seed.
I havent had any s/e so i cant complain about that.

USE MUCINEX IT WILL HELP YOU YOU CAN BUY WALGREENS OR WALMART.

ashar-I have it at home but they say you shoulduse it a week before you ovulate and i dont know when i ovulate.
