Hello girls! I posted here some time ago and just wanted you to know that I got my BFP!!! I took 100mg on cd2-6 along with pre-natal vits and a couple of other things. I'm going to keep posting my progress on another thread (Forum Topics » Twins and Multiple Birth > Taking Clomid to Increase Twin Chances) so that we can come full circle with everything from Clomid regimen, vits, pre-seed to the delivery of a healthy bundle of joy! Posting has been lifesaving for me, Thank you all! I pray that you all get your bfp soon!

Julix - I wanted to say congratulation and I am so very happy for you. I am not testing until Sunday I am currently on cd 26 and either 9 or 10 dpo. I am feeling real sick to my stomach, my mouth and lips are dry, my stomach is cramping but not AF cramps and I am so tired that I can't keep my eyes open. I did have my HSH done earlier this month and now I am thinking it will throw my cycle off what do you think? I am so tempted to use a opk as a hpt but I don't want too because I did that last cycle and got bfp even though it was faint but you know the story AF showed like clocked work but I can always tell because my temp start dropping so I know she will be knocking so far yesterday cd 25 my temp was 98.84 and today cd 26 my temp is 98.59 I am not too worry as of yet but if they keep going down then I already know what the out come will be. Krissy68 – Hey girl! Hope you feel better soon. I got a little crampy and had dry lips, mouth and eyes around cd25-26 so this may be it for you! I’d love it if we were prego buddies :) Now, if I were you, I’d wait for Sunday to test with an hpt. I got bfn until cd26 and that was a little discouraging for me. Please keep us posted when you do test. I’m keeping everything crossed for you! You’re always in my prayers. Sending lots of baby dust your way.

aprilmac - November 25th, 2008 6:41 PM

You were so very right in your belief that this was the month, please spread some babydust around, so that we may all follow in your footsteps. Well done and take very very good care of yourself. X

also on what mg to start on?
please help i am willling to conceive twins trying in february 2009

hearthope - December 3rd, 2008 12:17 AM

Hi luna2008 I know that if you are perfectly fertile and ovulate monthly you should take cd1 to cd5 (first pill on the first day of your period) or cd2-cd6. But if you not, take cd5-cd9. On page 7, helpful information did write good things about clomid maybe will help you more. I think you should start with clomid 50mg since you never had it. Take for 2 months and if doesnt help change for 100mg and lets see. You can search online for places to buy the clomid. I will see if I can get this right for you next time. Please for the others here, if I said some wrong let us know because Im learning too. And I hope you get all the info you need and take as soon as possible your cd. You will have your baby ou probabily babies soon. Good bless you.

Hearthope, I'm very happy for you, that's great news that you got you BFP unexpectedly. I want to say congrats and may you have a healthy 9 months followed by a bouncing healthy babies. Did they say at the hospital what your HCG numbers were? There are charts on the web, where it tells you what range your HCG levels should be on how many weeks pregnant you are. If you are pregnant with twins then your numbers will be sugnificantly higher than the chart. I'll try and find the chart again if you need me to.

I'm doing ok, I tested with OPK's tuesday night this week and amazingly found that I was ovulating this week. Keeping my fingers crossed I've been busy with hubby and am now starting the two week wait. I should find out sometime between 16-18 december, if this month has worked. I'm wishing all you ladies still waiting for your BFP's, good luck and hang in there it WILL happen for us all. XX

hearthope - December 6th, 2008 12:13 PM

hi aprilmac, I didnt ask in the hospital because I had no idea about this HCG levels. I started reading about this and will ask next week. My first app wasnt good. My doc had a emergency and left the office when I got there, so they took just my blood and sent me to next week appointment. But I will ask what is my HCG level since they had my blood sample. Thank for share this with me.

Luna 20008, I hope you got more information about the clomid. Let us know when you planning to start taking it.

aprilmac - December 13th, 2008 1:28 PM

hi girls, How are you doing hearthope? I hope all is well and your appointment day is getting closer.

I'm a little sad I guess, I thought this cycle worked but, it hasn't. I'm on CD27 and waiting for AF to arrive any day now. I did a test and it was negative, I know I ovulated a couple of days late this month but, I still have no hope as I don't have any symptoms at all. I guess I'm won't be getting a christmas present this year, well, not the one I want anyway.

I've decided that it's time to increase to 50mg and I'm thinking that I should start on CD3 instead of CD5, this might help me to ovulate sooner. This next cycle will be #36 and I am so very very tired of waiting, I would say that I'm near desperate now. I know it won't help with TTC and that I need to stop trying so hard and it will happen. I thought that for two years and waited, now It's almost 3 years I don't know what to think. I've given myself a deadline, if I don't concieve by my birthday next year, I'm going to start birth control and forget it all together. Sorry I've vented out, I can't talk about this with anyone else but you gals on here, so please beare with me. I hope you are all doing well XX

hi - i am new here. i am 37 and have conceived on my own (on birth control) twice before - a singleton girl in 2000 and identical twin girls in 2003. sadly my twins had TTTS and were born at 23 weeks, one stillborn. my surviving twin is a normal healthy 5 year old now, thank God. i would like to try to conceive another set of twin - not to replace my little angel, nothing can ever do that, but i really feel like it would heal my heart a bit to have a successful twin pregnancy. some of the ladies on here have said they took unprescribed clomid, and i am wondering if they can advise of a reputable place to get it, what dosage to use...do you think i have a chance of twins? i will be happy with anything i get, but am really hoping for two! oh, and what does "CD" "DPO" "BFP" etc mean?! sorry - not used to computer (fertility) lingo! thanks for all your help! good luck to all of you - wishing everyone healthy babies!
