Mother of seven ~ I took 75 mg cd 2-6 and got a bfp the first month. I do not have any known fertility issues. I have yet to find if there is more than one baby in there.

only three shots: When is your ultrasound appointment scheduled for? Did you take anything else while you were taking the clomid?

I took a prenatal, an additional folic acid, wild yam extract, and primrose oil. The doctor won't do an ultrasound until I am at least 8 weeks so I have a few weeks until I get it. My next appointment is in four weeks, I am hoping he will either do it then or schedule it at that point. As far as s/e I had mood swings and hot flashes. Nothing else that was noticeable.

only three shots- Were did you get the yam extract and primerose oil? What did you do with the oil? I hear lots of people talk about mucinex and baby asprin, do people nomally talk that when on clomid?

The mucinex and baby asprin I took from the last day of clomid until I ovulated. I got the primrose oil (capsule form) and the wild yam at a local vitamin store. I just swallowed them according to the directions on the bottle. The wild yam (NOT sweet potato) is a root that is a main staple in africa where there is a super high amount of twinning, and there is apparently a link to your hormones and the stuff in the yams. I took everything for a month before I began the clomid.

Hope you don't mind but where did you order your clomid from and did you get the mucinex over counter? How much mucinex do you take? Thanks for all your patience I have been trying to do research on this but there is not much info out there.

How much asprin?

I got them at canadamedicineshop dot com. I got the 25 mg ones so I could take 75 mg a day. I had heard so much success about 50 and 100 mg and I couldn't make up my mind which to take so I compromised. LOL
I took one baby asprin a day and only one mucinex pill a day. I didn't track ovulation except by cm, so I only stopped when I was pretty sure I ovulated.

Searching the internet I saw alot about stillbirths and miscarriages with using clomid. Have you heard anything?

Not to sound like a bitch but many woman who use clomid have tons of other issues that inhibit their sucessefully carrying a baby to term. I don't think that that number can really be blamed on clomid alone. Every woman I have known to use clomid that had no issues (but their hubby did) have had no problems. But then that is only the women I know. I really think that if your body cannot carry a baby then clomid will not change that fact.

Im a 22 year old who have very regular periods. I ovulate on my own and have been ttc for 7 months now. A few months ago I tried clomid for 2 months but then I started to have no cm during fertile time so I stopped. 3 months later and still not pregnant so want to try clomid again, what do you guys do for cm?? should I take progesterone cream too? Is there a such thing as too much?

Sorry I wasn't trying to be rude, I was just trying to see if you knew anything about it. I am new to this and trying to get all the information before I strated it. I have had a miscarriage before, just wanted to find out if it was going to increase my chances.

I didn't consider it rude. Sorry if I made you think that. I am sorry to hear about your miscarriage. My SIL had a miscarriage with her first and has since had a DD and is now pregnant with twins, the second two pregnancies were conceived using clomid. She had problems with the second and now third pregnancies but it is due to an incompetent cervix, not the clomid. I was jsut saying that I doubt that the studies could differentiate between the problems already present and any s/e of the clomid. And I am saying that due to the fact that few (if any) doctors would prescribe clomid simply because a woman desires it. Does that make more sense? Sorry if I garbled the meaning in the last message.
