SoReady, Thanks for the detailed reply. It isn't easy to find this info without a lot of backlash.
So my cycles shift forward one or two days every month but always seem to be around the 2nd week of the month. I have probably around a 30 day cycle. My cycle was over completely by fri so it probably ended this thurs. According to my cm, it seems as if I may have been ovulating today. Does that sound right? It's only been four days so I'm going to try and confirm that tomorrow. Should I try to conceive after the final day of my clomid cycle? On the last day? And do I stop taking clomid after five days, then wait for the my menstrual cycle and begin again (if need be)?

I obviously don't know as much about the fertility terms as many of the women on here, although I'm a natural born researcher and learning all the time. Judging by what you said, I will have to determine what's more important to me... the prospect of producing multiples vs. a higher quality outcome. I'll do some thinking about that and talk it over with my husband.
My other concern is this... if 50 mg help women who have difficulty conceiving to become pregnant, will that dosage be sufficient for me to hopefully have twins? Or should I take 100mg? What are the chances that I will have triplets if I'm very fertile and double the 50mg dosage in the way? I mean... it's got to be small, right? Might as well aim high and shoot low or am I seriously putting myself at risk for triplets or more?

Ladies, I know that BDing every other day is the most agreed upon suggestion. BUT... how OFTEN during the BD days are you supposed to BD? lol

Someone Help here!! I normally O' on 14th of every cycle but My LP is usually short 10-12dpo. I went to a new dr n He said i shud see him for 6months before he prescribes med on TTC so i decided to go for clomid unprescribed.I took clomid 50g 3-7 for the 1st time last cycle and was positive on BFP cos of the signs and symptons but Lol!! my AF came on the 15dpo.
Again tis cycle i am on clomid 3-7 TTC#1 for 4years. Help am desp!!!

Thanx Krissy68, dont worry just neva giv up. how many cycles have u been using clomid? just keep using ur vitamins that is combined with folic acid evryday. baby dust 2 all u ladies. i will let u no how my pregnancy is going. t.c.

Kay08 - How are you doing and feeling? This cycle is my first cycle of 09 using clomid and it was u/p. I got it from my friend who had 9 pills left over and she is currently pg. I do have a gyn appointment on Monday and I plan on being real aggressive with my treatment plan. I took the clomid on cd2-6 and on cd 2 I took 50mg and on cd3-6 I took 100mg I thought it was going to delay my ovulation but I don't it will. I started using the opk test strip on cd 11 and it was bfn and then again on cd 12 it was bfn but today once I got this morning from picking up my 4 year old from preschool I had to pee so bad i went ahead and took a opk instead of waiting until this afternoon and it was bfp so after I came out of the bathroom I told my df let get in a quicky and of course he was all for it. I plan to bd again this evening and for the next 3-5 days. I normally keep testing until I get a bfn and I normally get back to back bfp so we shall see what tomrrow opk show. I know fertility friend said I should ovulate between cd13-15. I am trying to stay positive and not really think about it but since my time is really running out I have to be a little aggressive I turned 41 in June so my time is running out but I do keep my FAITH becaue as long as I get AF regularly then I know I still have a shot every month. Hey ladies just updating you on how im doing. AF showed up about 2 hour ago and now im just woundering what days to take Clomid. I really would like to have twins, I hear that days 3-7 work well to conceive multiples. So if i decide days 3-7 what doze do i take? 50 ml OR 100ml?

mariapaniagua - I'm not really sure what dosage would increase your chances of having twins. I would try the 100mg. Good Luck to you this go round and keep us posted on how you are doing? Krissy68

krissy68-I'm goin to take 100 ml days 3-7 and start Opk testing 2 to 4 days after. Thank you for the luck becaus ei know i need it. I cant affor to miss another period next month unless its because im pregnant=)

hi ladies today was my 2nd day of clomid no side effect so far

iam taking 50mg from day 3-6 and 100mg day 7 hoping for twins baby dust..........

ladies i heard preseed can help you to conceived any ideas has.

momyof4-I ve herd other ladies here same the same thing but ive never tried it. Im taking Omega 3 and fish oil to help with that.

Well I am not real sure if preseed will help you conceive or not but I did use it this cycle and I will let you know if I get pg or not but whether I get pg or not I really like using the preseed and I will keep using it and so did my df like preseed as well.

Hey ladies here is my little update. I am on cd20/6dpo and my temp are still high so if they keep going up then on Sunday I will be 10dpo and I will take a hpt and if it is a bfn then I will wait until Tuesday 12dpo and test again plus I have my gyn appointment since I had to reschedule from July 27 since the doctor went on vacation and her stupid staff didn't call me to let me know so I was pissed off because I wasted my gas and leave at work to go for nothing. I have been waiting since my last appointment back in April to see what the game plan will be. If I get another bfn then I will just wait until my official test date which is Aug 8 but AF is due Aug 7. I hope you all have a nice evening. Krissy68
