i find babycentre.com a very good. the people on it seem and are much more mature and so muhc more supportive i think i have never seen any negative or nasty remarks or put downs on those fourms at all...if people didnt agree on something they voiced their opinions in civilised manner..i.e. i don't personally agree with this but i think it is your choice....etc....rarely did i find anyone on there being rude...check it out....http://bbs.babycenter.com/bbs/

I AM AKSING ABOUT MIRACLE STORIES AND AS FAR AS 'I SHOULD GET ON WITH IT' AND 'ACCCEPT IT' IS CONCERNED....DO YOU THINK I AM SOME KIND OF LOONY AND DEPRESSED BECAUSE I WANT MULTIPLES,TOOK RISKS AND NOT HAVE THEM NOW? OF COURSE NOT!!!!...THERE WAS THE OPTION THERE, MANY WOMEN HAVE TRIED IT SOME HAVE SUCCEEDED SOME NOT AND I AM ONE OF THEM...

OF COURSE I APPRECIATE THAT I HAVE ONE HEALTHY BABY SO SHOULD OTHERS WHO HAVE ONE SUCCESSFUL ivf TREATMENT!!!!BUT THERE IS REALLY NO NEED IN GOING INTO ALL THAT AND OF BELITTLING ME!!!!

I HAVE SEEN MY FAIR SHARE IN THE NICU TOO....MY OWN CHILD AND THAT OF MY SISTER IN LAW....

BUT THIS IS A WHOLE NEW TOPIC AND COMPLETELY UNRELATED TO THE ORIGINAL THREAD....

I AM REALLY NOT INTERESTED IN WHAT PEOPLE THINK IF THEY ARE SO AGAINST IT AND WANT TO DICUSS IT THEY SHOULD OPEN ANOTHER THREAD WHICH TALK ABOUT THIS ISSUE...

THIS THREAD HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT...SO PLEASE STICK TO WHAT THE THREAD ASKS!

FYI: Babycenter.com is also full of fakers that aren't pregnant and do not have any children. Not to say that all posters are like that but all of them get their fair share of fakers. Shelly, I think you'll find it's the same at any public forum unfortunately.

Do you know if there is any public type groups that meet with TTC'rs or HOM's that get together at all... I suppose I would need to ask someone in my area about that .
It really is to bad it is this way . I have gotten my hopes up on a lot of things through some of these forums only to find out that the person wasnt even real or had no children to begin with .
I suppose these forums are more for the entertainment of women with nothing more to do in the day ... that is what it seems anyway with all of the lies and deceit as well as rude behavior on here.
I really was hoping for a place to find encouragement as well as advice at times when needed.
I hope the best for all of those that are truly trying to conceive and blessing to those that are here for support of those that are.

Babycenter.com. I guess the only thing I can say is that I'm not surprised.

Shelly, is there a multipes group in your area that you could contact? I'm sure they must have set up a forum on line possibly with children the same age as yours.

I will have to look into it . I live in Kenai Alaska and we dont have a lot of those type of things that they have in the lower states or elsewhere for that matter.

Shelly, I know it is very sad. I could not believe it when I first encountered this site. It almost seems like a hoax. You will find that fertility friend has a good ttc and pregnancy board as well as 2 week wait. You might also enjoy the she knows board. I have never ever seen or heard of any rude remarks on those three. I learned a wealth of information from those boards and made plenty of friendships. They are to suport eachother. No, not everyone agrees all the time but, it is a world away from this place.

Shelly, I know. That fakers paige freaked me out. It blows my mind to think people are that needy for attention to go to places and pretend something.

If you google "multiples pregnancy fakers", a bunch of pages will come up.

and i did get those very people temporary banned or warned off by the sites editors for acting silly...in fact i got a personal email and wrote one myself to the editor about the 2 people who came on and acted judgemental on it...and immediately something was done....and thanks god something is now being done on here too....
