Did you have any bleeding early on in your pregnancy? If you did, when was it? I'm trying to reach doctors over here, but it's a state holiday, and having trouble. I'm having some bleeding and trying to find out if it's normal or common. Any input would be great. Thanks!

Julie, I didn't bleed with my first pregnancy (which was a singleton) or my current one which is twins. I did however bleed with a previous pregnancy and ended up losing the pregnancy. I was 5 wks, 2 days and it started as spotting and just got heavier. I never had any cramping. I would say if it's still light, don't worry too much, but you can always go to and ER and have them check. They might not be able to much on an ultrasound this early, but they can check your HCG #'s and see if they are where they are supposed to be for how far along you are and get them rechecked to to make sure they keep going up. i'm 21 weeks with twins and i had spotting once about 2 months ago. if your bleeding is accompanied by cramps, you should go to the hospital to make sure everything is okay. also if the blood is thick and even chunky, get it checked out. multiple pregnancy is high risk no matter how old you are (I just turned 24) so they will see you immediately. good luck!
