Can the first detection of fetal heartbeat in twins be a few days apart? One's smaller than the other, and hasn't beat yet. The bigger one was beating 2 days ago, but seems to have stopped. Could the second still be viable?

if it's super early YES, because the smaller twin could be too small to see it's HB via u/s, but if you are passed 7 wks, it's more unlikely to happen. good luck, i've had one unviable and one viable twin pregnancy. with the viable one both were always the same size, and vise versa, where one was smaller the other time, but i did read stories of one 'catching up' so to speak, like in your case. only a repat scan will tell for sure. good luck!
