Ultrasound And Dates-are They Right

So i went for an ultrasound a week ago and the doctor told me i was 6 weeks.......is it possible they could be wrong or becuase and that it could be identical twins and they dont know yet????

sonos miss twins about 1.5% of the time at that gestation, and most of the time the twins missed are id, sharing the same sac. So yes it happens but NOT often. I would say it is possibly but NOT probable.
