I forgot to add my s/e. I have not had another head ache but feel pretty sick all the time (I can leave home with out my tums) and I feel about 100 degrees hotter than normal!

mzwest - i live in sandy which in case you aren't familiar with it is basically a suburb of slc. it is ok, i was born and raised in new mexico so this is really different from home. i miss home like crazy, but i don't think hubby will ever agree to move back. i keep trying to convince him, though! where are you from?
on the baby topic - how much clomid are you taking? i am sure you posted it somewhere, but don't feel like going back through the pages to see. also, is yours rx or u/p? hope the s/e don't last too long! i have a friend here who took 50 and was ok with it - no s/e - then moved up to 100 (hers is rx for unexplained infertility) and was very sick on the higher dose. i am a little nervous of that! i think if i got sick i would drop to a lower dose and see how that worked out. oh, well... not till aug anyway! i hope it happens quick or everyone - it is fun to read all the updates!

lisa - I think that 75mg would be safe. If my OB didnt agree to give it to me I was going to start at 100mg.

After I begged and begged and begged for another baby and it didnt work I had to rethink my strategy. Thats when I decided to go with bribery. The first deal i tried to make with him (involving certain favors) didnt work. He said had he been 5 years younger it probably would have. About a week went by and I watched what he was doing closely and I noticed that he kept looking at this one particular website. I pretended to be interested and asked what he was looking at and how much did it cost. That when I knew I that could use that toy against him. When I first approached him with the second deal he said no. BUT the more that he looked at it the more he wanted it and now he has given in.

As far as not having caffeine, that is based off the Shettles method for having a girl. Female sperm will do better in an acidic environment then male sperm will. Caffeine will cause a more alkaline environment which is good for male sperm so if you cut it out of your diet then it should help you be more acidic.

This may sound crazy but I have started taking notes on everyone who gets prego here. I have been writing down what they take, how many cycles they have used clomid, how many babies they have, the days they take it, and if it is rx or u/p. I want to maximize my chances of having twins so, for me, it is easier to look at a sheet of paper and compare all the results. So far it seems that the most succes has come from 100mg, cd3-7. That was for people on rx and u/p clomid.

I dont know what dosage my OB is going to give me. I am sure that she will start me at 50mg, cd5-9 BUT I will use the u/p that I bought to up my dosage to 100mg on cd 3-7. I cant wait for JULY!!!!

So Ready- Just wondering what cycle it took for them to get preggo? My doctor started me on 50mg days 5-9 which is what I was on before and got pregg. But this time After I said I had been on it for a month. Then moved me to 3-7 100mg.

I dont know what to do about Dh. I asked him last night if we were going to talk about it. He acted like he didnt know what was going on. He keeps saying he is not saying no. Which he hasnt but he has not said yes either.

I dont know about the caffiene thing. I live off of Dt. Mountian Dew and i have had all girls

When it comes to what cycle where on I am still working on that, I know that one of them got twins on her 1st cycle. I have asked the others and i am waiting for responses.

Maybe he is scared. I know that mine is. Why is he saying that he is wanting to wait? Have you tried bribing him?

Caffeine - Maybe there has been a lack of male sperm or the timing was just right. The first month we try I am going to take baby asprin everyday. No caffeine. We will bd all 3 days before I get the shot and the morning of (shallow). then we will resume bding 2 days after the shot in case I O a second time. It is possible to O more then once but only within a couple of days after the first O.

I am glad I started taking mine a cycle early. I think it will help my body get ready so it will react better for the second does. But who knows.

I know he is scared. I think if you go into ttc with out a little fear you are crazy! I mean you are jumping into something that you dont know what is going to happen and when.

As for bribing him. I dont know what to brib him with. He doesnt have any big ticket things he wants and the little ones he just buys. I thought about the sex stuff but I dont think it would work. The funny thing is is he acted the same way before we tried for our youngest. Now she is the love of his life!

I have thought about taking his clean up rag (sorry TMI!!) and taking his sperm and use the turkey baster method but i dont know if i could pull it off.

I think that he is just scared and he might not get over it until you get pregnant. He may be like my dh who had to see the u/s before he was ok.

i dont think that you could get enough sperm. Even if it worked I doubt that you would get twins because of the lack of sperm needed for the journey.

mzwest - i know someone who did the turkey baster thing and it worked (gross, but , hey - whatever works) but the guy was wearing a condom and she just sort of confiscated it after. she just got 1 baby, but she wasn't on clomid aiming for twins either. how long will the sperm ilve in a condom, though, in case you cant do it right away? i honestly feel guilty about the whole trickery thing, but i tell myself, that of course once the baby/ies are here he won't be able to imagine life any other way, which is true. also we are the ones who carry the baby, deliver the baby, and do 90% of the baby care, and also sometimes help make the money (although i don't have a job right now i am trying to find one) i really do feel like we should have a bit more say in the # of children we have.
soready - so what is the breakdown of pregnancies on your list? can you post your results (without peoples names) just like "50 mg, 2 preg, one with twins" for example...the only people i can think of right off the bat were ashley 2121 and jusdee. i think they are both having twins right? ashley took 50 (i am pretty sure) and jusdee took 100 ( i think).

I dont think I could trick my Dh. Its going to have to be him in on it or nothing. Which really sucks!

Lisa- I completly agree with you about the we should be able to deside how many kids we have! It makes since!

SoReady ~ Those stats are encouraging considering I am trying for 2. I have been under the impression that most of our girls on here ended up with singles.
