I was wondering when all you ladies started to feel the braxton hicks contractions? I am 23 weeks and sometimes think I am feeling them, but cannot always tell the difference between contractions or fetal movement. I am expecting twins in late april. I do remember these with my first pregnancy, but thinking this may be soon.

Hi miffy, congratulations on your twins, I am 29 weeks pregnant with identical twin girls, I dont exactly remember when I started to get braxton hicks, but I think it was before I was 23 weeks, and It is all normal, I get them a lot stronger and more often now, and I was concerned but the doctor reasured me that it is normal with twins!!! Good luck with it :)

Miffy - I have boy/girl twins that are 15 weeks old. I remember asking my OB about when I should expect them with my twins vs. my previous single pregnancy and he said to expect them earlier (anywhere from 20 weeks on). I think it's totally normal. Good luck and make sure to drink LOTS of water and make sure to rest. We moved when I was about 24 weeks pregnant and I got dehydrated and got pains in my sides. Drinking H20 helped and it didn't happen again. I ended up delivering after being induced at 38 weeks, 1 day. Congrats!!
