Ive seen several conflicting charts listing the normal range for singleton and twin pregnancy. I'm 5 and a half weeks pregnant right now, and I go in for my first ultrasound on Jan 24th. My 12dpo hCG level was 136. my 14dpo hCG level was 346. Some charts put that within range of the possibility of twins, and others don't. I'm confused! Do you think there's a chance I'm carrying twins? This was my first round of Clomid (150mg cd3-7) Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Because of the clomid, your chance are elevated a bit but you just can't rely on HCG levels. I have seen extremely high levels that go off any chart and quadruple every 2 days, turn out to be singletons. I have also seen very low numbers turn out to be triplets. When do you have your u/s?

The is a huge variety of normal. If you use dpo charts levels tend to be higher than if you use a weeks or months chart. ONly an sono will tell you anything...all hcg numbers do is tell you that the pg is healthy and progressing.
