Hello to all--So I also am on the clomid bandwagon, hope it works as well for me. I started on day 3 post AF, first day was spotting then 2 days of flow then I took my first pill. The problem is that I am not flowing, I completely stopped after taking the first pill--I hadn't really had much of a flow to begin with, not like normal. And no I am not pg, my husband is sterile so we have to turkey-baste it. Which we are planning on doing this next O--if it happens. I have twins every generation in my family so I won't be surprised if this happens, I may fall apart if there are more though. So has anyone noticed the disruption of flow when taking the clomid?

Actually, I have PCOS and my periods are sooo irregular. I had to take a med to get my period to start, then I started taking clomid on days 3-7, and I have been doing this for. . . this is month 5 and my periods are completely regular, I now have a period on day 32 every single month all by myself.

Hello. I have been reading these forums since I started clomid 2 weeks ago and thank everyone for sharing their stories. I am 21 and have been diagnosed with PCOS. I am currently on CD15 on my first round of 50mg Clomid days 3-7. I did not experience any side effects except minor hot flashes in bed. I have cramps in my lower right side, almost like AF cramps. I think I may be O'ing now..not really sure how to tell besides a OPK or taking temps... anyone have similar symptoms and conceive on the first try? I would love to conceive =) Any info or suggestions would be great! Thanks!

I just discovered this forum & it's been really interesting. I took Clomid 3 years ago & conceived my son on the first go round. I can't remember the dosage - but I took them & then they took my blood to see if I ovulated. They called & said that I did & on the way home I stopped & got a pregnancy test (really for the fun of it) & it was POSITIVE! Now 3 years later we are trying again. We tried on our own since January with no luck. So, today was day 4 of taking Clomid again & I hope it works as quickly as before!!! As far as symptoms - none physically (maybe a slight headache) but emotionaly, I think I could bite someone's head off!!!!!!!) But its all for a good reason - so good luck! I am curious to know if anyone who was taking Clomid for their 2nd baby had the same luck as their first?? (I am just crossing my fingers:)

Hey ladies! I have a question..I am currently on CD25 and for the past 3-4 days my nipps have been swollen and VERY sensitive...not normal for me by any means....does anyone know if this is a side effect of clomid?? **PLEASE HELP** Thanks for any info!! -Amanda

Jen T. - August 24th, 2006 9:41 PM

Islandfever, I don't think that sore nipples are a side effect of Clomid. I was on Clomid for many cycles (2 yrs. of infertility) and did not experience this. But this last month my nipples were very sore and erect...unusually....so I did an HPT and it was a BFP! Those were my greatest symptoms. I'm now 5 wks. pregnant. Good luck to you! Let me know if you get a posite HPT.

AlisaD - August 25th, 2006 5:45 PM

I think it effects different people in different ways. I am on my 5th month of clomid, and it never fails . . . from the day after "O" until I get AF my nipples are soooo sore, it almost hurts too bad to wear a bra, I have heard it is a side effect. This never happened before I was on clomid. Is this your first round???

Mary Ann Pfaff - August 26th, 2006 10:52 AM

Is there anyone out there who has used Clomid in the past & it worked the second time????

islandfever - August 27th, 2006 7:21 AM

Thanks for your replies ladies!
-----AlisaD----Yes this is my first round on Clomid. I am now on CD28, and am going to wait till probably Friday to take a HPT. I dont want to get my hopes up for failure =) Thanks for your info!!
------JenT----- Mine are also sore and erect all the time...my partner even says they look bigger than usual... Actually today they arent erect, but are still very sore! Again, I dont want to get my hopes up..but will test soon! If I did O, I am now 14dpo. Hmm....maybe I should test soon! What do you think?? Thanks again ladies...you all are the best!! -Amanda

Hey Everyone, someone mentioned that increased chances of conceiving Twins when on Pergonal. I am new to this what is Pergonal exactly and what is it normally prescribed for. My husband and I are really keen on Twins and want to do everything possible to increase our chances. Any ideas?? :-)

littlemanclothes - September 1st, 2006 8:01 AM

Zerafa, are you on clomid as well? if so what is your dose and what days do you take it?

Zerafa05 - September 3rd, 2006 6:52 PM

littlemanclothes, I am not on Clomid. I have been researching Clomid before I look at getting it. Before I even think about getting Clomid without a prescription I want to speak to my doctor and see what he says. I know some doctors are happy to moitor you on Clomid even if you have not experienced infertility. Sorry I can't help. Baby dust to all :-)
