Clomid causes you to release more than egg, it has NO effect on the egg splitting so there should be no coorelation. If you got id twins from clomid it was a total fluke. However there is a link between ivf and identicals as they happen more often in ivf procedures than in spontaneous sets. It has to do with the egg having a brittle outside shell and the days the eggs are transfered.
