I'm not even sure that i'm pregnant. CONGRATS! to all you who are though. I was just wondering what my chances of having twins are. My mother had twins, and my husbands mother had twins. (neither one of us is a twin though). My husbands mother is also a twin. I just want to know what you all think my changes of having twins are?

Depends if you mother had fraternal or identical twins. Your husbands side doesn't count. Your chances only go up if your mother had fraternal twins.

I've heard differently - that they are in your genes, and it doesn't matter what side they are on. That's what my doctor said. However, I just found out I am having twins today, and they do run on my mother's side....
