Ovulation And Twins

I know this might be a stupid question but i am going to ask it anyway. If I had ovulation pains on both side (very obvious pains) at the time I ovulated and i am now pregnant...is it possible that I had eggs coming down from both sides that and could result in twins?

I have heard that if you have the pains on both sides then if both eggs get fertilized then yes you could have fraternal twins. Good luck!!! Wait until sonogram to tell...or very very nauseated and very very sore breasts early on!!!!
