I just started 50mg of Clomid last week.I am 32 yrs old and we have been trying to conceive for 8 months with no luck. I am taking Clomid on days 1-5. When did you take yours? Can anyone who has taken Clomid tell me the best way to go about it. I am having terrible ab pains I don't know if I can do this for a long period of time the pain is too great. thanks for anyones help!

I took clomid on days 3-7 but never had ab pains. Sometimes clomid can cause cysts on your ovaries, you may want to have your doctor check it out to make sure you have not developed a cyst. The only bad side effect I had was emotions & with my eye sight.

Yeah, I'm taking mine days 5-9. I hear this is the common way that most doctors recommend. I am a little curious as to why my doctor put me on 100mg right off the bat. I find out now that most doctors start you off at 50mg. So, because I didn't know this then... I didn't ask. I have no rare conditions or anything I can think of as to why I wouldn't get the normal beginners dose. And I'm only 21, well 22 in a month. I was a little freaked out that my chances of having twins were now greater because of the 100mg, but now I'm just plain-O excited. Just, please no triplets or more.. YIKES. hee, hee. hi angie, i hope your back on to read this. im also 22 and cant get pregnant. im a very shy person and cant seem to go to the doctors and ask him for the tablets. could you or any of the other women help, please im desperate. if you or anyone else has any left could i please have them. please.

I stumbled on this board and started Clomid this cycle too. I'm here for support and give hope....this is ttc#2 for us and just like me, I'm reading that so many get pg AFTER stopping the clomid! We did 8 mo on our own, 3 mo clomid (50) with ob/gyn, 3 clomid(100, 150) with IUI with an RE and NOTHING! Gave up and had some cocktails and bd ONCE and got pg! So this time we tried 16 mo on our own and going to try clomid again to "up the odds." Then maybe quit and see?

I am on my second month of Clomid 50 mg since my miscarriage in March. I am also on Glucophage 500mg. I have been on it for the last 19 months. I am hoping all goes well this month. I ovulated late last month on day 19 or 20 and we were only watching days 11-17. Now the doctor has us watching days 10-20 but only every other day. It was our first that I lost so we desperately would love to have a baby. We have been married 15 years and I am 33 so time is an issue as well for us. I also have PCOS and Endometriosis. Baby dust to all of you and lots of prayers that we will be holding our little ones soon.

Well, I don't think this month was a go either my temp. dropped this morning. So? We go on vacation next week & I'll put call my dr. when I get back to have my tubes checked. what about you?

Awww Leslie... I'm rooting for you. I hope everything goes well for you. I think your baby knows you are stressed-out and only wants to come home when you relax.... the vacation might do it? what do you think? I know I'm not pregnant, but I haven't got my period, so I haven't had the chance to start the clomid.... but you can still root for me. I do think about this board throughout my day and wonder if anyone's had any success. So, keep on truckin' ladies... especially you, Leslie.

Sharon, please don't tell me this. That is awful. If you want a baby and are having difficulties, there is NOTHIING to be shy about. Your future rests on you speaking up or not. Many women, as you can see on this board, are in the same boat you and I are in. I do want to say.... I used to get asked by many people right after I got married 2 years ago... "when are you gonna get pregnant?" I would say, "I think I want to wait... I don't know" In actuality, I had been trying to get pregnant for about 2 months before my wedding date (I know that isn't smart, but I wanted a baby). I would Never tell anyone that I was trying, because I was embarrasses and ashamed that my body wasn't working and I didn't want to see the sympathy faces. Anyhow, I realized that my husband and I becoming pregnant wasn't gonna be easy and I needed to get something done.... as you should. I can't recommend any meds to you. All I know about is what my doc put me on and I believe you need a prescription for it, thus... you need to see a doctor first. Plus, it is always better to get your body checked out before you begin trying to get pregnant... you don't want your baby to be in any danger, especially something you could possibly avoid. Wait, I just re-read Sharon's post. Sharon, you don't seem to be genuine and If you aren't... I take all my kind words back. For the sake of everything that is good I hope you aren't joking around because it's nothing to kid about.

Can someone please tell me if they had any success on their 1st cycle of clomid along with a shot of Ovirdrel? Desperate to hear success stories. been ttc for 2 years now

Just as I thought mother nature came this morning. I left a message at my dr.'s office but he probably won't be able to do the test until my next cycle because we are going on vacation next week & that is when it has to be preform. Maybe a month of no aide will be the ticket. we'll see.

do any of you ladies know anout prolactinoma, I would like to know if I can get pregnant using clomid 50mg and have high prolactin level does any one have any info on this please please write back my first cylce of clomid is thru I feel funny but I sometimes think it is my mind is tellin my body that I want to be pregnant so it is giving of pregnant symptoms.

Hi all I just finished my second round of Clomid since a miscarriage in March. Now every time I am active like mowing, gardening, or walking on treadmill I start spotting. I have never done this before. Have any of you? I am supposed to be ovulating right now. I do not know if the Clomid will work or not with the spotting. I have a Dr. appt. tomorrow morning. Please give me any info if this has happened before or if it is common on Clomid. I took it six months last summer and it never happened then. I also take Glucophage 500mg twice every day and Clomid 50 mg. Best of luck to all.
