Hi all I just finished my second round of Clomid since a miscarriage in March. Now every time I am active like mowing, gardening, or walking on treadmill I start spotting. I have never done this before. Have any of you? I am supposed to be ovulating right now. I do not know if the Clomid will work or not with the spotting. I have a Dr. appt. tomorrow morning. Please give me any info if this has happened before or if it is common on Clomid. I took it six months last summer and it never happened then. I also take Glucophage 500mg twice every day and Clomid 50 mg. Best of luck to all.

This thread is hitting very close to home. My sister-in-law is going through this now and I was hoping your stories here would help me gain some insight. Every story makes me tear up. I hope to see all of you on the other multiples threads on this site very soon... discussing belly issues and names for your baby (or twins or more!). My heart is with all of you. My twins are a joy... and I hope every single one of you has a baby (or two) of your own very soon.

Leslie, I'm telling you.... it just may happen once you get some time to relax. Enjoy your vacation... you deserve it. Making (trying) babies isn't easy work, ya know? Still rooting for you, though.

I was on the clomid for 3 cycles. Does being on it longer make you more likely to have multiples?

Hi Lauren. I was on the clomid days 5-9. We don't have any twins in our family anywhere.I was on clomid for 3 months. I do ovulate on my own without a problem. I have had 3 prior miscarriages and my doctor thought this would help with that. I guess I'm not worries because I've lost 3 babies already and can't imagine that these will stick. I'll be more stressed if they do, until they are born healthy.

hey girls! another success story . i have been on clomid for two months with ovulation but failing to concieve . i went into the fallopian test check by x-ray which shows that there was a tremendoue blockage on both of them , i have been set to two mini surgeries (done in the clinic) to open my tubes, the first month after this mini simple procedure to get rid of the blockage i was pregnant with the help of clomid another time. i am 6 weeks pregnant now. so please girls , do not start taking clomid before checking your tubes.
good luck for you all

Elizabeth- Congratulations!! It is so wonderful to hear about your story. I also ovulate on my own and got pregnant last time on my own, but miscarried at two months. This is why my doctor also recommended clomid. I can understand your worries. I am hoping to get pregnant soon, but I fear that it won't be a completely happy time for fear that I might lose another baby. I wish you the best!

Hi Lauren- I am also planning on taking clomid soon. My doctor asked me to take it on days 3-7. I read a lot about it on the internet and there was a study done on days to take it and its correlation with being able to conceive. It was a good article. You can read it at conceivingconcepts.com. It is called Clomid- What, Why and How. They did say that an earlier start date may result in more pregnancies. Let me know how it goes:) I wish you lots of luck!!
