Lynn - good luck to you this mth

Beth - September 25th, 2005 1:19 PM

Lorena, my Clomid days are 5-9, and my doctor suggested intercourse on the EVEN days from 8-18. However, from what I have read, different doctors suggest different routines. The reason my doc suggested every other day, is so my DH's count will be higher and therefore more effective. Good luck! And Lynn, good luck to you this month! Ladies, I am having an HSG next week, so wish me well too...

Thank you Beth for your posting. I'm just seeing a Obyn and he presecribed provera and clomid for 6 cycles before referring to a fertility specialist. I hope God blesses us soon. Thanks again and I'll be praying for you also!!

Tina - September 25th, 2005 5:24 PM

Ladies~
This was my first cycle with Clomid, CD 3-7 with Provera first to induce AF because of PCOS. I must tell you I got my BFP yesterday and I have taken 5 tests already, ALL POSITIVE. Several Answer tests, one Equate, and one Family Dollar brand....GL ladies. I am hoping this will stick, it still seems unreal until I go to the dr. to confirm........O Pray.....God listened to my prayers.

I don't know how long ago you posted your question.. but I just read it and thought I would reply. I hope your pregnancy is going well. I don't think the chances are very high for multiple births unless they run in your family. At least that is what my doc told me. I was on Clomid in July. I got pregnant and at 5 weeks miscarried. It was my first time on clomid and I got really excited and told EVERYONE which I wish I hadn't have. The doctor's office was very unprofessional into telling me about the miscarriage and it tore me apart. I am now on my second dose though the doctor told me that they did not think the miscarriage had anything to do with the clomid they said it was just an early pregnancy. I hope all goes well for you. Just get lots of rest and take care of yourself! Let me know how you are doing.....Best wishes

hey everyone..hows it going??well lets see i took a preggy test last night and im not sure if it was a invald test or what...the results came out half and half...it looked so faint that it looked it could be positive but it looked neg too..so i dont know..i think it was to early to test..so i am going to wait anything week or so..hows everyone else doing? any new pregnancies out there?

Michelle - September 26th, 2005 1:22 PM

Christina, I don't think your test was invalid as long as the control line showed. If there was any color at all in the test line, the test is positive. I used to volunteer at clinic administering free pg tests and that is what we were taught. PG tests aren't like opk. The opk tests for a chemical that is usually present; it looks for a surge of this chemical. Pg tests look for a chemical that is only present in pregnancy. I think you may be pg! I would call my dr for a blood test. Good luck and let us know!!!

Charlene - September 28th, 2005 5:42 AM

Hi everyone! Have been following the postings. I'm in the same boat as all of you. I'm 30 and had 3 miscarriages in the last year. OB put me on Clomid. Started this month on cd 4-8. I have not read anyone else starting on these days. I'm on cd 9 today and feeling quite depressed/down. Hoping for the best!! Baby dust to all of you!!!! x

Michelle - September 28th, 2005 10:33 AM

Charlene, I have heard of everything from cd2-6 to cd5-9. I think it is your dr.'s preference. I have heard, I don't know if it's true, that taking it earlier produces more follicles and later produces stronger follicles. Are you on clomid to thicken your endometrium or to conceive? I can relate to your feelings; I am on clomid due to my miscarriages too.

Nora - September 28th, 2005 3:24 PM

I am ttc #1, on first round of Clomid 5-9, cd12 and depression hit me last night and this morning! I thought I was going to be side effect free, but guess not...

Charlene - September 29th, 2005 2:16 AM

Michelle - Thanks for the encouraging words. I'm on clomid 50g and soooo much want to conceive. I can't believe that this can totally rule one's life! How long have you been on clomid? Nora - Yip, I also didn't have any side effects, or so I thought, until I started to get these terrible moodswings. Will have to cope though.... Baby dust to all! x

Lorena - September 29th, 2005 9:33 AM

Hi everyone..Today is last day on clomid 100mg. I actually took the clomid days 3-7 instead of 5-9. Just had a question regarding tempature. Is it right before ovulation tempature drops? And if so, how much does it usually drop? Wednesday (cd6) it was 97.5 and Today (c7) it's 97.2. I dont want to miss it so I'm really nervous and confused. My ob. didn't give me info on temp. Thanks so much girls for your help!! Good luck to all..

Nora - September 29th, 2005 11:58 AM

Charlene, are you still having your moodswings? I seem to be feeling more back to normal now. But I am also making a concious effort to try and not let my emotions get the best of me. Hopefully I'm over the depression part of this! I don't know if it comes and goes or not. I'm on cd13 now. Anyone have any input from your own experience?

Charlene - September 30th, 2005 1:49 AM

Nora, well my moodswings seems to come & go. I'm on cd11 today & waiting patiently for the big "O"! U r quite close?! Holding thumbs for all! My hubby is frightened I will conceive twins, or more.... but I will be thankfull for all I get!! Baby dust... x
