Hello ladies! I have been working alot lately and haven't been able to get online. I just read through all of the entries since I was on last. I finished my second round of Clomid and I'm on day 25. I took a hpt yesterday and there was a faint line, I did another one today and same thing. The instructions say that if there is a 2nd line it means positive but I am so afraid to believe it. I took an Answer test which says it can detect pregnancy up to 5 days before a missed period. Is it true Clomid can induce a false positive on a test taken too early?? I read that on the internet. I don't know what to think.

Leslie: any word back on your tests?? I have been wondering if you have found out anything..I hope you're ok.

HI WENDY...CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR POSITIVE HPT TEST AND HENCE PREGNANCY...NOW ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS WAIT AT LEAST ANOTHER 5 DAYS AND TAKE ANOTHER ONE..I DON'T WANT TO SCARE YOU BUT I HAD THAT ONCE AND EVERYTIME I TOOK A TEST AFTER WAITING FOR A WEEK THE LINE STAYED LIGHT...I WENT TO GET MYSELF CHECKED AND WAS TOLD I WAS PREG...BUT THEN I STARTED SPOTTING AND IT NEVER STOPPED S WELL AS THE LINE NEVER DARKENED AND EVEN DISSPEARED...THE LINE JUST STAYED LIGHT AND EVENTUALLY I WAS TOLD MY CERVIX WAS OPEN AND THAT WAS ABOUT TO HAVE AN EARLY M/C...EVENTUALLY THE BLEEDING BECAME HEAVIER AND I DID M/C...I KNEW FROM THE FACT THE LINE NEVER DARKENED THAT THE PREG WASN'T GOING WELL...SO LOOK OUT FOR THAT..I WAS TOLD WHAT I HAD CAUSE I TOOK A VERY EARLY HPT (4 DAYS BEFORE MY PERIOD DUE) WAS A CHEMICAL PREG.. I SO HOPE THIS DOESNT HAPPEN IN YOUR CASE..BUT IF AFTER AT LEAST A WEEK THE LINE DOESNT DARKEN MAKE SURE YOU SEE YOUR DOC...AND BOOK FOR A SCAN...FINGERS CROSSED YOU WILL BE A.OK!!!

Yas2000 - Thanks for the response. I am using Clearblue easy to detect O for this month. I know they say you can get a false + with Clomid and OPK , but I like to use them as a guide.. The doctor keeps telling me that my progestrine levels are still too low (2.2) to O, but I always get a + read on day 14 and 15.. Its really strange. I'm now up to 100 mg and yesterday was my last pill. Today is only cd 10 and I already am reading high fertilty on the opk.. I've also been getting more light throbbing, and cramping. I hope my body isnt overdoing it. Every month I feel cramping around cd 14 - 16, and the dr. said my body could be trying to produce a mature egg, but it hasnt succeeded yet.

Hey everyone i have a ? for anyone who is willing to answer or been through it..Ok heres my situation...I start my period thursday or early friday morning, it started out light and went to like a medium flow saturday came around and it went to spotting and is continued a spotting ever since...anyone out there been in my shoes???

Hey Julia...Thank you for your message...My son too was a surpize to my husband and I when I got pregnant with him..It didnt take me that long either to conceive...We have been trying for over a yr now for #2 (really want a girl or twins) anyways..i understand what you mean about getting despite...I am at that point. been on clomid last month and dont think i can take it this month because of the weird period..It start thursday(which was early) and it was like a medium flow or so and by the time saturday it was spotting only.. and still i am at a spotting thing..Not sure what all this means..I guess thats gods way to tell me not to take that pill..anyways I called the doc this morning and told them what was going on...They want me to come down for a blood test..God I dont wanna wait for all that...but i guess i am going to have to see what it comes out as..well i will stop babble if that test comes out neggy then i am just going to live life and kinda give up...seeyaz and thank you again

wendy - thanks for thinking of me. my progesterone was low and the biopsy came back that i am not producing a good enough lining for implantation. the egg could be fertilizing just not implanting. i see a specialist on the 11th of nov. it's fixable and just finding the right medication to fix my hormones. I've been out of town and just got back to checking the chat.
what did you find out from your test, have you taken another one?

sharette - I'm so sorry to hear that.. That was a pretty late miscarriage, did the doctor tell you what went wrong with the pregnancy? I know that it sounds like there is more miscarriages with clomid, but my dr. said its b/c women find out about their pregnancies earlier.. If there is anyone out there suffering from low progestrone levels my dr. said to take vitamin B6, this helps increase progerstrone levels...

Hi ladies I am 33 years old with endometriosis and PCOS. My doctor has had me on Glucophage 500mg twice daily for the last two years. Lately my blood sugar has been low so he cut me back to one a day. My progesterone has been up and down over the last several months. Last month it was 7.3 and this month it was 11.9. The only thing I did different was took Clomid 100mg at bedtime and he added 50mg of vitamin B6. My question is I was taking Clomid 50mg and it didn't work so he doubled it. Then he changed it to bedtime and yesterday they changed it to days1-5 instead of 3-7 as I had been the lasst several months. He also increased the B6 to twice daily. Has anyone else had to make all these changes? If so did they work? I did get pregnant February and miscarried in March since then my system is all whacky. Thanks for your input. Prayers and baby dust to all.

sarah - what dose of b6 did he recommend? i read that it helps and have been taking 50 mg a day and also using progesterone natural cream i got from whole foods store. dosage of b6 was in 50, 100 and 250 mg.

Leslie - I don't O because I have extremely low progestrone levels, and my dr said 50mg of B6 is still enough, along with my prenatal vitamin (which has 12mg of B6). I'm going to try it for 1 month and if there isnt an increase I'll double it to 100mg..

Hey everyone I am back still no new on the preggy thing...but i have kinda slowed down on it..Anyways i was told some good news..Went to the hospital last wednesday and they told me i have multiple follicles..What does this mean? and can I get pregnant with having this?

Christina..from what I've read the follicles surround the egg, it looks like a donut and the egg would be in the center of it and it prepares the egg for ovulation. The follicles have to be there and fully developed, then it breaks open and releases the egg to be ovulated. The egg comes out of the follicle then released from the ovary. Hope this helps.. I took another pregnancy test and it was a much darker line this time. I also have had morning sickness off and on for the last two days. Today so far it is pretty intense. It's okay, I'm glad to be pregnant. I go to the doctor on the 26th for an ultrasound.

Hey wendy thanxs for writing and letting me know what those follicles are for... i am hoping that i can take a test soon... and it come out positive..but anyways How is everyone else doing out there with there pregnancies or trying to get pregnant? wendy how are you doing?
