Hey all!
Congrats Monica! Thanks for providing detail! Always good to know. Question, what round of Clomid were you on before you received the good news? This is my second round and I'm waiting results soon!

jacksonkate - December 3rd, 2005 11:18 PM

Sara - December 3rd, 2005 11:46 PM

Jacksonkate, My b-day is June 7. My boobs have also been really sore. This is kind of weird. We have alot in common you should e-mail me. I also have throw up twice today and feel very sick to my stomach.

Sara - December 3rd, 2005 11:48 PM

Jacksonkate, Look at the time of your post to mine. Weird!!!!!!!1

Thank you everyone for the congrats! Baby luck to all of you! Emmygyrle01, this was my first round on clomid, my husband and I stopped using protection exactly a year ago and we really started TTC about 6 months ago so the clomid combined with the praying really made a difference.

Kate - December 4th, 2005 9:15 AM

Hi there. My period is due on the 9th December, started my first round of Clomid this month. Don't have any side effects really, kind of wonder how do I know if its working? I have got pressure on my lady bits, but I think this may be thrush. I did a test this morning which was negative, I expected this anyway, as it is too early to test. So anxious - just want a positive result. We have been TTC for a year now. Dr. put me on Clomid as not ovulating, possibly PCOS. Any advice would be warmly welcomed.

jacksonkate - December 4th, 2005 10:18 AM

Sara, my son's b-day is June 10... it sounds like we do have a lot in common I will email you too. I 've been nauseous on and off the past week. Oh I can't wait till tuesday. have a good day.

Sara - December 4th, 2005 1:49 PM

Jacksonkate, Have you taken any pg tests or are you just waiting for the blood test. Is that what you are having on tues? I think I might schedule one too.

Sara, I'm not sure my Doctor told me to come back on the 23 day of my cycle for test... So maybe.. Oh I can't think about it. Good luck to you.

Emmygyrle01 - December 4th, 2005 5:48 PM

Monica, Thanks for your quick reply! WOW, your first round! GOD is amazing! I pray that HE will bless us soon. I think the anxiety of knowing that pregnancy will occur while taking Clomid makes it a little stressful as well.

Beth - December 5th, 2005 8:54 AM

I am on my 6th round of Clomid. Has anyone else been taking that long? Do you know of anyone who has been successful on later rounds? Most of what I hear is success during rounds 1-3.

Megan - December 5th, 2005 9:42 AM

Beth - I'm surprised your doctor isn't suggesting another route since if you haven't been successful with clomid in 3-4 cycles it usually won't work for you. Does he have a plan B?

Talia - December 5th, 2005 9:45 AM

Does anyone else who has gotten pregnant on clomid experienced crampy feelings in your abdomen? i guess it could be my uterus stretching but it is making me nervous. Anything similar?

jacksonkate - December 5th, 2005 11:33 AM

Talia, From what I have read it is pretty normal, but I would call your doctor to be sure.

Talia - December 5th, 2005 11:35 AM

Thanks jacksonkate, it stopped shortly after I ate something. I am extremely paranoid this pregnancy in case you cant tell.
