Hey all, I'm sorry its been a while since I have posted. I hope everyone had a good Christmas and New Year. Mine was pretty good this year. To catch everyone up; I still haven't got my period, but a blood test confirmed that I am not PG. My doctor put me on provera to get my period started. Its not here yet... patientlly waiting, so I can start my second round of clomid!!! Sara I'm glad you are doing good, and nice to read your posts Lynn, and Debra.

Lynn - January 5th, 2006 4:15 PM

Well, Sara did you have appt today?
I have a copy of my first ultrasound and it said I have two corpus luteal cysts so wouldnt that mean possibly i released two eggs? Each cyst would be producing the progesterone for the baby right? I know that last pregnancy I had one corpus luteal cyst and this time I have two. Doctors appt is Monday and I hope they do a ultrasound so I can know for sure.

yas2000 - January 5th, 2006 5:22 PM

hey sara i had that too..i have one on each ovary! hence they asume i had a vanishing twin (not 100%) but becasue at 4w they did see something that almost looked like another sac but the tech wasn't sure...but i would be interested to know about your diagnosis and how your ultrasound goes....my hcg levels were 284 at 13dpo! i was told it is high but not sooooooo high...but then hcg's don't mean anything unless they are ridiculously high i guess!!!good lukc to both lynn and sara and let us know how your ultrasounds go...

yas2000 - January 5th, 2006 5:24 PM

oh sorry lynn i meant you...about the corpeus luteam i mean!!!i had one on each ovary!

Corpus Luteum Cyst - January 5th, 2006 5:32 PM

A cyst is a fluid-filled sac, and can be located anywhere in the body. On the ovary, different types of cysts can form. The most common type of ovarian cyst is called a functional cyst, which often forms during the normal menstrual cycle. Each month, a woman's ovaries grow tiny cysts that hold the eggs. When an egg is mature, the sac breaks open to release the egg, so it can travel through the fallopian tube for fertilization. Then the sac dissolves. In one type of functional cyst, called a follicular cyst, the sac doesn't break open to release the egg and may continue to grow. This type of cyst usually disappears within one to three months. A corpus luteum cyst, another type of functional cyst, forms if the sac doesn’t dissolve. Instead, the sac seals off after the egg is released. Fluid then builds up inside of it. This type of cyst usually goes away on its own after a few weeks. However, it can grow to almost four inches and may bleed or twist the ovary and cause pain. Clomid or Serophene, which are drugs used to induce ovulation, can raise the risk of getting this type of cyst. These cysts are almost never associated with cancer.

Hey yas, I will kup! Hope I have a healthy baby! My two cl cysts were both on the
right ovary. The other ovary was unremarkable is what the ultrasound says. Hopefully we will hear something from sara!

Hi everyone! I just found your site and am very excited. I have PCOS and early ovarian failure. Delcember 6 found out i was pg accidentally then 46 hours later that i would miscarry. Not fun. This month we did Clomid and i don't think anything haapened. I ov on Christmas day. Anyways its nice to find you all.

rosie1230 - January 6th, 2006 11:44 PM

Hi. I have never posted on a forum before...so here goes nothing! December was my first month on clomid and I thought everything was going fine until my doctor called with my bloodwork results of my 16th day of my cycle. He said that I NEVER ovulated this month. Needless to say, my husband and I are incredibly shocked and disappointed. I guess I don't know if I have been ovulating or not the last four months. Is this common not to ovulate while on clomid? What should I think? The Dr. is upping my dosage to 100mg. Do you think this will help at all?

jacksonkate - January 7th, 2006 10:45 AM

Rosi, I started clomid in November and did not ovulate..I have not got my period either, so they did blood work (not PG) and put me on provera to get me to start. I understand how you feel. They also upped my dosage to 100. So keep positive it will work out. Good luck to you

Sara - January 7th, 2006 1:06 PM

My appointment to find out is on the 16th. My boobs hurt sooooooo bad nothing like when I was pregnant before. I read in a book that they are now suppose to start growing until 8 weeks well I am only 8 weeks pregnant now and they are HUGE. I am bigger than a F size bra. I also felt great then yesterday hit and so did the morning sickness. Yuk! It seems like when I get a symtom this time it is totally magnified. Also I have gain 5 pounds. I have not been eating more so what gives. This is why I am starting to wonder if it is twins. Also everytime I see twins my heart starts to race. Jacksonkate, Hang in there hon. It sounds like you have been though alot. Hopefully you will start soon so that you can start tring I am betting next month is the month for you. Baby dust to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trena - January 7th, 2006 10:46 PM

Sara...I totally understand the feeling of ALL the pregnancy symptoms being alot worst this time. I wonder if the clomid has anything to do with it because I did not take it with my first pregnancy?!? I also had the SORENESS in my boobs around 5 1/2 wks. I am currently 9 wks and Morning Sickness doesn't quite cover it...it is more like "a BAD hangover that just won't go away!" WHy do you think your having twins...I wondered the same thing, but wasn't sure how to know . Baby dust to ALL!!! :) :) :)

jacksonkate - January 7th, 2006 11:41 PM

Sara, all I can say is it will happen when the good lord says it does. I just want to get on a normal cycle, then proceed to have another baby. I'm sorry you are having sucn pain in your boobs...... let me know how your app. goes, take care
