Hey thank you everyone for your support. This is my first discussion board that I have posted things on and I like it very much. Its nice to hear stories form people in the same situation as me. There is no one where I live or that I know of that has ever had any success with clomid. At first my hopes were down because I didnt even know if there were any success rates for clomid. I hope that everything will work out well and all I want is to have a healthy baby. Do any of you know of anyone that has gotten pregnant from the clomid and not just from this board? I need some faith and I don't want to lose it if it doesnt work this time. My plan is to just relax and have fun.

hey everyone guess what? 3 days befire christmas i got the best present in the world. it was a postive preggy test:) i am so happy . today i went to the doc and i got a sonogram i am 9 weeks hope everyone else is having some luck

I am in my first month on clomid. Really hoping that I am soon pregnant. We have been trying for almost two years then diagnosed with pcod, and only have one tube working. I am so afraid that I am not going to get pregnant. Reading all of your stories has lifted my spirits. Congrats to all of you that have finally concieved. If anyone has any tips please let me know.

as you all know i can not always get to a computer ( i really have to get a new one) but I am so excited about all that have had succes w/ clomid. Thanks for the congrats and i will def. go to the new forum. I read a lot about clomid when my dr first put me on it and I read several places that it can work better the month after you go off of it and that is exactly what happened with me. Aug/Sept/Oct I took clomid on days 5-9 and then in Nov I did not take it and I conceived in Dec. I have been to one appt and things seem ok and i go on Jan 31st for an ultrasound to get an exact due date (right now it is Sept 3rd) and of coarse they want to check for two as with all clomid pregnancies. I hope that this forum continues to help everyone and baby dust to all that need it. Oh and also i have been getting the same cramps that everyone else is talking about and my dr said that as long as it is not unbearable and as long as you are not bleeding that everything should be ok but if you bleed or if it hurts so bad that you can't stand it then you should go to the ER. Also Talila, thanks for scarring the crap out of me, i am glad to read that you are ok and my prayers are w/ you that everything will stay better than ok.

I am 24 and I have been trying for months. Mr Dr. finally put me on Clomid and I was wondering if there was a certain time you had intercourse. I will start Clomid next month advise PLEASE!

I am on my first month of clomid. My Dr. advised me to have sex 5 to 7 days after my last clomid pill. Then have sex everyother day for the next 7 days. Good luck to you. I am also 24 and me and my husband have been trying for a while now and finally got on the clomid. Good luck.

did he tell you to have intercourse every day at first or every other day? Good luck to you

i started on day 5-9 with clomid had intercourse days 11 thue 15 everyday and then did every other day after that till my cycle was due this was month 1 on clomid and found out the next month i was pg 3 weeks later fund out i was carrng twins i am now almost 12 weeks they r both growing perfect and i have not gained 1 pound i lost a few lucky me cause they r right on with weight but my fertility problem was i didnt o at all mabe once a year i tried for 2 yrs without clomid it worked for me but my dr didnt tell me when to have intrcourse at all i just did what i flt would work in my case it did also i was on 50mg hope that helps some keep us posted and baby dust to u all

Steph, My doc did tell me to have intercourse everyother day yet we have been doing it more frequently. So I guess as long as you are doing it during that time period then your o.k. Baby dust to all.

hey everyone i am back again...I am sorry its been taking so long to get back to you...so i will answer everyones ? they have been asking...when am i due? I am due on my step dads birthday 8-22....so that will make me aboutn10 weeks now...man i am so happy.. i even get a parttime job now too.. well how is everyone else doing i wish you all the luck...oh and if you are trying to conceive and you get so desprite STOP trying thats what i did trust me

Steph, my dr explained to me that it is best to have sex every other day, that gives the sperm time to build back up and besides sperm can live in you for up to 5 days. My dr also suggested that I read a book about fertility (I will get you the name of the book) anyhow after reading it I understood a lot more about how reproduction really works.

If your having pain you should call your Dr. I had cramping my first go around W/ clomid and some what they called old blood and my littleboy is sitting wright here with me. On the other hand im about to try clomid again and im scared

Steph, my doc said the same thing as Brandy that you should let the sperm count build back up. I got pregnant the first month of clomid and we did every other day so I know something worked right. Good luck to all!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Sara, how are you feeling? I go for my Ovulation test on tuesday, so hopefully my numbers went up this month. I hope every one else is doing okay....Baby dust to alll......... :)
