Well Allison, you might be there in 2 weeks. My ovulation tests were positive sept. 10&11 (my cycle days 16&17)...and I'm pregnant. Very early, but VERY positive. Good luck, and thanks. I'm gonna need good luck... it's hard not to stress when there's spotting here and there, and mild cramping...but i think that's normal. |

It is normal. I did, my grandmother did, and two friends did and we all had healthy babies. |

Ladies - Well I went yesterday for blood work because I had been having symptoms of being pregnant. I couldn't wait until today to get the results back, so this morning I took a clear blue test. I had taken one about a week ago in the afternoon, but it came back neg. This morning It was 100% positive. I am still waiting to here back from the Dr. I wish everyone the best of luck and I will keep you informed of my wonderful experience!! |

I have my first Dr. appointment on Oct. 4th @ 9am. I will let everyone know how it goes. He says he believes there is only one baby, but wants to make sure. My HCG level was 152, so he says that great! Good Luck to everyone!!!! |

Alisson, thanks for responding. I've been pretty stressed about it. I got my blood results from the doc. my Hcg level is 182, and progestrone is 60 which is really good. High progestrone is usually an indication of a healthy full term baby, but not always....One can only hope :) Congratulations Abaldwin!!! We're about a week apart. My 1st day of my last period was Aug. 26th, so I'm 4 weeks according to the docs. |

Abaldwin, I just went up the forum and read your 1st entry. We are in the exact same boat...how weird!! Except I'm 23. |

Rachelle-S.....That is so awesome to hear that. I can't believe this medacine worked on me the first month. Well good luck and keep us posted and I will keep everyone posted as well. I do have one question is someone can answer for me. I found out that I was pregnant on Tuesday 9-26-06 and weighed myself and today I weighed myself and I have already gained about 3 lbs. and I am only around 5 weeks. Does this mean there is a good chance that I will have multiples? My belly looks like some pregnant women that I know that are already 3-5 months pregnant. If anyone could comment on this....PLEASE DO!! Thanks-Amy |

I would not worry about it. In all of my pregnancies, I have looked about 4 mos by the 6th week. Good luck! |

amy, i know exactly what you mean. i weigh 105 lbs. on a bad day, and nothing can make me gain weight, but when i went to the doc for my check up i weighed 108. i've looked bloated since i started clomiphene though, so even when i knew i wasn't pregnant yet, i looked pregnant. now i already have a small bulge and my husband keeps saying not to worry cuz i'm supposed to get fat....i tell him that doesn't make me feel any better, but it makes me laugh. i'm pretty sure that i'll stay this big for a few months though, cuz i'm staying with that best odds diet in the what to expect when expecting book, and watching my calorie intake. i stopped smoking after 11 years though within 3 days of finding out i was pregnant, and am down to a caffeinated soda every 2 days. it's all about discipline, and it sucks!! |

Rachelle - At first I gained about 3 lbs. in 3 days, but I am evening out now. I have been watching what I eat, but sometimes I just want what I crave. My friend who is also pregnant, she wrote down some things that she eats to curve her appetite, but is really good for you and the baby too. I am going shopping tonight to get these items. Like one of them is low fat peanut butter and an pink lady apple. (the apple is a new kind she said.) Well Good luck to everyone and I will write after my dr. appt. on Oct. 4th. |

Yeah, I'm "trying" to stay healthy--it's hard. For those healthy snacks, I like shakes. You blend lowfat milk with strawberries, peaches, bananas and apples, and add oatmeal. You don't have to add all of them, but it's good and nutritious-especially for breakfast- and no sugar...just the sweetness from the fruit is good. I have been a claussen pickle freak too. Carrots with f.f. ranch, celery with f.f. peanut butter, a little Lowfat ice cream every few days. Other than that, yogurt is a good snack. Just throwin out ideas to everyone. |

Hi Everyone, I am 23 and on my second round of clomid waiting for the outcome. I found out I had PCOS in December 05. I am very inspired by everyone's story and hope I can share a success/inspirational story soon. I had a positive OPK on Thursday, but only for one day. I go to the doctor on Friday for blood work to check my LH levels. Hopefully I'm full of good news in my next entry. Good luck for all :) |
