Well my night sucked. I've had mild morning sickness up till last week. I can't stop throwing up. For every 10 min. of sleep I get at night, I'm sick for 10 in the bathroom. NOTHING WORKS!!! I don't know what to do. I'm tired. My body aches and I'm sick All day and night. It sucks.

Lolashaw, My period was always lighter and shorter (3days) on progesterone. I spot for a day then have a little larger flow for two days then more spotting.

Rachelle-Ask your doctor about giving you Zofran it's for nausea and it's safe during pregnancy. It doesn't have side effects that will make you tired and you will feel much better.

MollieJo- How many days of spotting did you have? Altogether does your period on progesterone last the same amount of days as it would without it? Thanks for your help!

Lolashaw, I think it was two but it was really light. It is definitely shorter with progesterone. The drop in progesterone after you stop taking them is what makes you bleed. I rarely have periods so I had to take progesterone in order to start my cycle so I could take Clomid. The clomid does seem to be working (I get a positive OPK and AF) but my progesterone level after I ovulate is way too low. It suppose to be above 10 and mine is 0.8. So now I have to take progesterone during my cycle as well. When I didn't take progesterone during my first cycle with clomid then my AF lasted for 8days! This cycle I am on clomid 3-7 and take Prometrium 100mg every morning starting on cd5.

Is there anyone that gets crampy around ovulation time. I have not began clomid yet, due to my doctor's wishes, but I am going to begin in about three months. I have cramps on the lower left side and I am wandering if I am just ovulating on my own. Thanks again for all of the advice!!!;)

Hello everyone! I am 27 years old, mother of one beautiful 2 1/2 year old. When I was 20 I was diagnosed w/ endometreosis and told I would have a difficult time trying to conceive. It was always in the back of my mind especially since my now husband and I were never really careful. I remember I would always be a little dissapointed when I did get my period. When I was 24 my OB suggested I go on birth control to help w/ the cramping and heavy periods caused by the endometreosis. I did so and never missed a pill. The pain never seemed to subside and my Dr recommended I have exploritory surgery to see if there was something more causing my pain. Surgery found nothing. I had to wait for my first period after surgery to start taking meds for endo, but period never came. I decided to take preg test and was shocked to see + result. I went to the OB and found out I was actually 7 weeks pregnant. My husband and I were shocked! Gave birth to a my amazing gift Sydney. Now 2 1/2 years later trying to conceive w/ no luck for 9 monthd and I have had 2 cycles of clomid. I haven't had a normal cycle in months, 33-36 days and I should have actually had my period but took test and test was negative. I'm having some sharp stabbing pains and I feel really tired so I don't know yet. This process isn't easy and I feel for everyone here, but miracles do happen. I wish all of you luck and I look foward to sharing. I promise no more long stories.

Amayharv-The month before I started Clomid I had very strong cramps on my right side and I thought for sure I was ovulating without Clomid too but I never had a positive Ovulation Predictor Test until I took the Clomid.

Hello everyone! I'm starting to question if I am getting the best care from my Doc. My doc has never given me a blood test to confirm if I am ovulating or not. I plan on calling first thing in the morning because I don't think it's fair that I put myself through all this if I'm not even ovulating. I have had really bad cramping, I'm tired all the time and I have gained about 10 lbs. I am open to all comments or suggestions. Hopefully my Doc will have some answers for me. Good luck to all!

Is anyone still visiting this forum? the last entry i see was on 10/29. i am on my first month of clomid. I took it 3-7 and the only side effect i had was hot flashes at night. I've been doing ovulation predictor tests and detected my LH surge yesterday. So, should we be having sex every day or every other day?

Clomid worked the 1st month for me having sex every other day. Except the 3 days after my ovulation kit said positive, then every day, or twice a day is okay. And my husband's count was borderline. Good luck!

Thanks Rachelle. That helps! Also, has anyone taken Prochieve? I had an ultrasound on day 10 and dr. said my lining looked a little thin. She said she wouldn't be able to do another ultrasound before I O'd, so to be on the safe side, prescribed Prochieve. Just curious if anyone has done this??

Hi, I'm new to the forum but am starting clomid next week. I'm a little nervous that it might not work. I've been through all the tests and I seem to be perfectly healthy but still haven't been able to get pregnant. Then I'm a little nervous that it might work too well and we'll end up with triplets, since I ovulate on my own already. I guess you can say I'm just a bundle of nerves at this point :-) We've been trying for a year with no luck, I'm 34 and husband is 44. We don't feel like we want to wait any longer to get pregnant. Are the side effects absolutely horrible?

Antswife: I am on my first month of clomid...I'm in the 2 week waiting period. I had the same fears as you. I am so drug sensitive so I thought if there are side effects, I will definately have them. It was not bad AT ALL! All I had was hot spells a few nights. That's it. I am perfectly healthy as well, but had periods between 40 and 55 days and was not ovulating (since being on the pill for 11 years). Clomid made me ovulate this month (on 50mg), so obviously it works. Also, the chances of you having triplets is SO low that you shouldn't worry about it. Good luck...stop worrying. You will be fine.
