rachelle-s thank you for helping me with the terms used on here. :) I have heard of a baby absorbing back into your body. I was talking to a lady the other day about clomid and she said she was on clomid and got pregnant with twins and that happened to one of her babies but the other one came out healthly and beautiful, so don't stress to much and enjoy being pregnant with your little girl. Good luck to you and Merry Christmas. :)

BFP* BIG* FAT* POSITIVE*!!!! I had no idea what half the lingo was so my husband and I googled it all and found a list explaining most of it. This was the other confusing one to me. BD- baby dancing or bed dancing DH-Darling husband. CD-cycle day P-past O-ovulation. Well I hope this helps out, Jules my husband had to tell me what A.F. was.(how sad huh?). RACHELLE- sorry that you had to go through that. I read on one of the other posts that 1-8 pregnancies starts with twin but only 1-80 delivery twins. They said that it's the vanishing twin syndrome. I don't know if these numbers are accurate, but it sure makes you think. It makes me a little nervous to have an early U/S I just keep telling myself what suppose to happen will. When I was reading about it I also noticed that it was early on in the pregnancy not as far as you. Everything seemed to mention that they other baby isn't affected by it and they develop and come out fine. Well EVERYONE off to a road trip. I can't wait to see what the new year bring for surprises. I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GOOD CHRISTMAS and thoses testing get a BFP. TANYA

OK ladies...I need your opinions. Last night my husband and I had sex and afterwards, I noticed that I had some blood...it was light pinkish/brownish. I am 5 days past ovulation. Do you think it is too early for me to have implantation bleeding? I'm just wondering if that's what it might be? Or, maybe something just got irritated and started to bleed? Wishful hoping, I guess. How are all of you?

NellyD - December 22nd, 2006 11:57 AM

Michelle: From what i was told implantation could be anywhere from 6-12 days after ovulation. Did the bleeding begin right after you had intercourse or a while after? are you still bleeding? Anything is possible, so dont give up hope.

Hello ladies- How has everyone been? I haven't logged in lately due to extreme stressful holiday preparations. My husband's ex-wife's mother is coming to live with us for a few months. I don't think I need to say anything more :-) hopingforablessing: Wow, congratulations!!! that was super quick. MicheleB: that doesn't sound like implantation but that doesn't mean anything. You might still be. The 2ww is really tedious but also very exciting :-) Tomorrow I go for either an IUI or an HCG shot. I was supposed to pee on sticks to find out if I ovulated today but i think I'm doing something wrong. I hope they can tell tomorrow whether or not I've ovulated. My husband is coming with me and plans to stay in the room when it's done. A bit akward I think, but I guess he should be there. Anyone else done the IUI? Happy Holidays to all!!

Corona - December 22nd, 2006 2:20 PM

Good luck Antswife with your IUI. We did it last year & now have beautiful 6 month old twins! A boy & a girl! We actually did it at 2 different clinics. The first few times was unsuccessful, but the last time in a new clinic, we got lucky! That time my hubby actually "pushed the plunger", so to speak. Nothing is as ackward as your partner seeing your cervix! Really, some things should be just left sight unseen. I kind of thought that would be the end of our love life! LOL!!

AntsWife - December 22nd, 2006 2:53 PM

Corona: thanks for responding. How many times did you try before it worked? I don't think I'd want my husband to do it. It's akward enough that he'll be in the room. On the other hand I guess it's a little akward for someone else to be distributing the sperm so it's pretty much a no-win. Thanks for the encouragement though. Do you know if they can tell tomorrow whether I ovulated or not?

CourtneyD - December 26th, 2006 12:12 PM

Hello ladies! I am new to this site. I have been looking for some type of support. It's hard to feel like you're alone. My husband and I have been trying for almost a year now and no luck. I have always been irregular, had surgery in 1999 for endometriosis, was on Depo for about 4 years, recently found out I have a partially blocked tube (which the RE I saw states is impossible b/c its either blocked or its not), and apparently I have PCOS and had it back in '99. I am starting my first roun of Clomid on CD3-7 which will be after the st of the year. I am on continuous Prometrium to regulate me. It is the only thing so far that has worked. I was on Glucophage and that didn't work (my body rejected it) and then Avandia which my OB/Gyn does not feel safe me taking on Clomid. I have been so depressed lately and Christmas was really hard. We REALLY want a baby. Everyone says to not stress about it, and even when I think I'm not, how can I now??? Every time I go to the doc I feel its bad news. I have not ovulated in the past year (although I haven't really tested much lately seeing it's always neg) at all so my doc wants to start me at 100 mg. Has anyone ever heard of starting at 100 instead of 50mg? Also, does anyone else have trouble with the lines on the OPK? Last month it seemed like they were the same every day and my husband agreed. I know that's not possible. Also, a few months ago I actually got a pregnancy test that said pos, got excited, went straight to the doc, and the bw said neg. Talk about depressed. I have had weird stuff happen to me for sure. Thanks for all of the encouraging stories. And Congrats to all who got a pos and good luck to the rest.

michelleB - December 27th, 2006 11:00 AM

Utopia and Nelly D: OMG!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!! How many days past ovulation did it show up as positive?!?! I am currently 11dpo, and was planning on waiting until 14dpo. Antswife: sounds like you have a lot going on with you. I'm glad to hear that you are going to be doing the IUI...I hear it is very effective and I'm very interested to hear how it all goes. Please keep us updated!

NellyD - December 27th, 2006 11:34 AM

Hi everyone! Congrats to Utopia! looks like we will we be pretty close in due dates, huh? :) Michelle: How are you? On Christmas day I was actually 15dpo, because i was actually due on the 24th, but i just wanted to wait for christmas. Im pretty sure i could have tested before then because the line was really, really dark. I was pretty sure I was, because my bb's became reaaally sore. Way past what i feel when im getting AF. So that was a sign for me..oh yeah and the gas (sorry tmi) Michelle good luck and keep us updated...Courtney: my doctor put me on 100mg for the first time instead of 50mg. I wasnt ovulating at all either so she said she think a higher dosage would do better for me. And it did!

utopia8302 - December 27th, 2006 12:24 PM

nelly, congrats!!!!!!!!! i think my due date is sept 4, according to an online calendar! it was really a big surprise to me this month because i was taking opks 2x a day! and they were ALL NEG. but on cd17, i felt like i was ovulating. my first +was on xmas morning, so IF i ovulated on the 17th, it was only 8dpo!!!!!! so hang in there girls!

michelleB - December 27th, 2006 3:18 PM

OK, guys. So, I decided to do a preg test for the heck of it this afternoon and there was a faint line...not just when you move it a certain way...it was definately there. I really am not believing that it could be true, so I'm not going to get too excited yet. I'm going to get a digital test today and take it tomorrow morning with my first morning urine. I will let you guys know how it turns out. I'm only 11dpo, so I'm nervous there was some mistake for it to show so early. Is it really true that no matter how faint it is, if it's there, it means it's positive??

rachelle-s. - December 27th, 2006 3:53 PM

Wow...alot of BFP's for the last week of 2006! And just to think...all of these are in the 1st two months of using Clomid. It's so exciting getting that positive test, Congratulations Nelly, Utopia and Michelle!! You guys aren't far behind me. I'm 17weeks now and am really feeling the baby. Make sure when they do an ultrasound that they are certain there's only one baby in there! I hope your pregnancies are 100% healthy. My hubby and I can't wait for our little Mikayla to get here. How old are you guys, and how long have you been married, and where are you from?? I'm 23, and in April will be 2 years, and I live in Missouri, USA. So many people on this forum are from other countries.

utopia8302 - December 27th, 2006 4:59 PM

i made a mistake in my last post. my first + preg test was 11DPO! so it is possible michelle! let me tell you! even if you see the FAINTEST line, its +. it measures the HCG. i also got blood work done, and my hcg was at 60 12dpo. so michelle, you're def prego! i went through(and still going through) the same thing! its still hard to believe that it showed up + that early! so congrats!!! enjoy, dont be skeptical! enjoy this treasurable moment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
rachelle- congrats to you again! what a beautiful name you picked out! here's my scoop: we had no problem conceiving our first child at 22. i am now 25. we've been married for 4 years, live in cleveland ohio. 1st month on clomid was 50mg, and 2nd was 100mg...which was successful. we've been trying for almost a year, and it was worth it!!!!! so far my symptoms are NOTHING like with my first pregnancy...nothing is teh same. i have no morning sickness yet. my biggest complaint is a lot of pains in lower abdomen. i dont know if this is normal only at 4 weeks. i never had them with my daughter Livi. with her, i was throwing up from day one until i gave birth. this is a breeze so far! so conrats to everyone!!!!!!!!!!
