Thanks for the reply. I hope the test will be a breeze. On the dream question, come to think about it I have had strange dreams. they were so real feeling that when I woke up I actually thought it was true. I keep having dreams that my husband leaves me for another woman and I do not fear that on an everyday basis whatsoever. But now that I thought about it this could very well be part of the clomid. I am sure m husband will be glad to know that.

The HSG test was horrible. :( Oh well I am so glad it is over!

ChrisNFran - April 13th, 2007 11:39 AM

Jules78- Sorry the HSG was horrible for you, but I hope you got some answers. I just found out today, that my progesterone levels were boderline, so my ovulating this was month was questionable. I hate feeling like I could be pregnant, when I'm probably not. I'm still not taking a test until Monday, so hopefully I am, but it just seems like a cruel trick that pregnancy symptoms and clomid side effects are so similar. I just feel sad and discouraged.

Jules78 - April 13th, 2007 12:04 PM

I know how easy it is to feel discouraged and sad but that will pass. I was so depressed the first few months on Clomid when I would start because I put so much faith in it working and both my sister -in -laws became pregnant the first month they tried. But the last few months I have told myself I would not feel sorry for myself or depressed anymore. God has a plan and we must just be on different schedules. Just hang tight and know that it will happen when the time is right. I am sure you have heard this a million times from people but I totally understand where you are coming from so please just be strong and don't give up faith. You never know this could still be your month. I wish you baby dust and I will be praying that we will in fact get our wish. Keep me updated. :)

Jules78 - April 17th, 2007 8:17 AM

ChrisNFran-did you take your test on Monday?

ChrisNFran - April 17th, 2007 12:50 PM

Jules78-Yes, I took a test yesterday and it read negative, but then 20 minutes later I saw a faint second line. So then I took a second test and it read positive right away!!!! So we're very excited and I have an appointment scheduled for May 1. I just hope that everything continues to go well. When do you start your next round of clomid...I had my HSG in Feb and my dr. said that you're more fertile the month following also because the test helps to clean you out. I'll keep you guys updated.

Jules78 - April 17th, 2007 1:36 PM

ChrisNFran--Wow how exciting!!! I am so happy for you. Did you have any signs of pregnancy? How far along are you? How long have you been trying? I had my HSG on last Wednesday 4/11. I am hoping that this is our month. :)

ChrisNFran - April 17th, 2007 2:30 PM

Jules78- Thanks! I had tender breasts, fatigue, about 11/2 weeks of a high BBT, and abdominal pain. If I figured it right, I should be 4 weeks pregnant, but I'll know for sure in about 2 weeks. We've been trying for a year and half as of March, so we're so excited. I guess my body just needed some help. I'll keep you in my thoughts...Let me know what happens.

angier - April 19th, 2007 9:25 PM

my name is angie, my husband and i have been trying for 2 years and havent been able to, since i rarely get my period my doctor put me on clomid, im on my second month my first month i didn't ovulate, im now waiting to see if i will this time, i check my temperature every morning but nothing higher than 97.7 is it still possible that i get pregnant? my doctor told me i have to be at 98.0 and above but it just wont go up...has anyone experienced this or has gotten pregnant dispite this?

ChrisNFran - April 20th, 2007 8:53 AM

Angie- I am pregnant, probably only a few weeks, and I took my BBT everyday for the last 3 months...I had a fluctuating temp all the time, not just high around ovulation, but my temp never went to 98. The last 2 weeks, I've known I'm pregnant since Monday, my BBT has been 97.7-97.8, so yes I would say it is very possible to get pregnant with a lower temp. Good luck, you'll be in my thoughts. :)

Hello ladies,
It has been a long time since I posted but that is because I have had no news. Since I stopped taking Clomid in January I had to be closely monitored because I got huge cyst. They were almost bigger than my uterus. That finally went down after 9 weeks and than on Thursday I had an HSG done since I did not get pregnant after 7 months on Clomid. I went to the RE back in early March and he said that he wanted to start me on injectibles but all I needed was for the cyst to go down and I also had to have that HSG done. The HSG found that I have only one open fallopian tube. On the screen it showed that right one is open and the left one is closed. I think that doctor said that everything on the screen was backwards so maybe my left one is open and my right one is closed. I am really not sure. I pretty much tuned everything out when I heard that only one was open. I am waiting for the RE’s nurse to get back to be to tell me what is next. I wish that they would not take so long to get back to me. I am so anxious to finally get some answers. Has anyone experienced this or does anyone know what is probably going to be next. The DR that did the HSG said some encouraging words…she said that I only need one tube to get pregnant. I wonder what my chances are now?

Hi everyone I have been reading all of your entries since I found out that I need to be on clomid. I allready have one child and he is 2 1/2 we have been trying for number two for 16 months with no luck. I found out in december that I have hypothyroidism and I am not ovulating. So now I just started my first round of clomid (taken CD 5-9) and I am on CD18 with no POS OPK yet. Just wondering when you normaly ovulate on clomid?

Jenn9178 - April 29th, 2007 8:46 PM

Hello everyone I haven't wrote in here for quite awhile. It seems once you get a BFP from the Clomid you get caught up in the pregnancy and forget what it was like to be on the other end trying to get pregnant. I am currently 32 weeks pregnant and awaiting the arrival of my little girl Julianna. I have a 12 yr old son and was unable to conceive after him. I was on clomid for one month and received my little miracle. I know not everyone will be so lucky right away but it will happen when it's suppose to you just have to keep the faith and void out all the negative influences around you. Good luck to all of you with lots of Baby Dust to go around!!!!!

kayleighxx - May 1st, 2007 8:40 AM

hi there, i am new here and been reading all of the posts. i am 19 and have been dx with PCOS for 3 yrs. i have been with my partner for the same amount of time. i only have periods every 6-8 months and have but on far to much weight asweel. what are the chances of getting pregnent with clomid if i barely have periods. please help?

ChrisNFran - May 1st, 2007 4:23 PM

I just wanted to give a little update...I went to the Dr today, and he said I am 6 weeks a few days along. He did an ultrasound, and we saw the uterus with fluid, and the yolk sac. He was looking for the heart beat, but didn't see it, so I have another ultrasound on 5/7. He says it's proabably since I'm still so early in the pregnancy, but I'll rest better once we see it. I'm just hoping that this first trimester goes smoothly and I don't miscarry.
Kayleighxx- I didn't have PCOS, but I did have unexplained anovulation, and I would go 3-4 months once I went 5 months without a period, and I conceived on clomid. Good luck.
